Now in its fourth year as the official airline of The National Flight Academy, Delta Air Lines helped welcome 200 AXPs (Ambition eXperimental Pilots) aboard the National Flight Academy’s AMBITION in July and August. Through a sponsorship agreement with National Flight Academy, Delta made it possible for hundreds of students to participate in the six-day aviation-themed learning adventure aboard a simulated land-locked aircraft carrier, AMBITION. Students selected to attend were children of Delta Air Line employees as well as students from Delta Air Line’s community partners. The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP), Junior Achievement, Women in Aviation and 100 Black Men of America, Inc. were among the community partners chosen to attend.
