the transition from city to desert landscape is amazing
WoW! This is really impressive. Thanks for the timeline section indicators. And thanks for *not* having an irritating music soundtrack. Well done! I've never been to "Lost Wages" 😄 but always been intrigued.
Those big flying machines never cease to amaze. Flew three weeks ago. Doesn't even feel like you are moving in one of those !😊
Best airplane in the skies today :D

Epic lighting with the sunset!
Amazing video, one of the best on the internet. Great plane, great airline on a 1R sin city departure at sunset. X100
Great view of the Sphere
What a wonderful shot. I could watch forever and the view of Las Vegas is just incredible. Only the air conditioning in Las Vegas must have been very, very cold... I've never heard so many people coughing so often on an airplane... 🤒
Nice view of the Sphere.

This is awesome. I used to fly delta a lot in the 2010s and always found myself on MD80/90, 737, or CRJs for domestic flights. Never dreamed of being lucky enough to snag a ride on a newer widebody. Occasional 767.
Safe travels and have a good flight

The thing when it comes to ears popping, has to do with cabin pressure when it comes to aircraft. Especially the A350-900. From my point of view when it comes to riding airliners wether be delta, American and spirit. Take off can lead to cabin pressure. Post take off, can be relaxing. Mind the turbulence.
Great video! Amazing view!

Classic video clip of Delta A350 take off out of Vegas
Good to see other Sky Team airlines represented at LAS. Wow. What a beautiful departure out of LAS on the Delta A350. Quiet engines.
That big mountain ridge right there when you're coming or going by air... we call it the "pound cake"...
Beautiful 😊

Favorite plane and airline nice video.👍...there is a chance I was on that plane with you based on the time of day, 330-...300?, and dreamliner. Was your flight by chance on a sunday? I do know there was one on a saturday to so bo big deal if its not the same ( i was just wondering). Beautiful video keep up the great work!🫡

I'm not gonna like I was sure this was MSFS from the thumbnail
I noticed myself that when flying out of McCarran (now Harry Reid) takeoffs were always longer than normal since it is one of the largest airports in the country thus a lot of planes coming and going all the time

Yep, it can get pretty congested when ops are confined to a limited number of runways. MSP right now is a perfect example with the 12L/30R construction closure.
Is that delta flight 777? Bc I flew out of Vegas on a a350 and that was the flight number

ICN, MSP, and ATL. ICN and MSP for the Consumer electronics show, ATL for sheer demand as far as I know.

How could an A350 operate into Las Vegas? These planes are mostly used for international flights. Back in late 2021, I traveled from New York to Las Vegas and back on an A330.
@twincitiesaviator
27 күн бұрын
It’s for CES. ICN MSP becomes ICN LAS MSP to accommodate the extra demand between ICN and LAS.
Can anyone explain the "buzzing" or rather "drilling" noise at takeoff when the wheels come off the ground till cruise altitude and the seatbelt sign is off? Its far less noticeable in an A350 compared to my recent 777-300 a week ago, but having searched and asked around for videos at takeoff even the A350 has is it in some capacity. I believe it's the compressor that regulates cabin pressure, but some say that's not true.
@twincitiesaviator
Күн бұрын
Engine N1 fan blades going supersonic so you get a buzzsaw type of sound. The thinner the air is the less it’s heard so eventually it becomes inaudible as we climb out. The A350s Rolls Royce Trent XWBs are specifically designed to reduce this sound, so it’s muffled in a sense. The GE90s on the 777s have a very prominent buzzsaw in most cases.

@@twincitiesaviator thank you so much! I’ve deep dive into the matter. To be even more amazed of the engineering aspect of the engines. Still I always kind of knew the noise was never a problem, I didn’t like the sound as it overtakes the beautiful jet engine sounds.
Is the engine that loud the entire time inside the cabin?

5A, 7A/D are better on the neck for the engine and wing views. Worth noting that 7A gets scuffed by the jetbridge though.

@@twincitiesaviator What route is this it’s interesting how DL777 is A321NEO and some that are marked a350 is entirely different plane. I am huge aviation nerd and travel hacker. I’m going to LAS from CLE and I seen A350-900 runs LAX to ATL so I made a quick one leg from LAS-LAX all in same day to get that one way and snagged it for 54k miles pretty much every seat is open what seat were you in I want the best view of the engines? I got 5D but I’m very curious what your destination was from LAS?

An a350 seems like a lot of airplane for a 3-hour hop to Minneapolis. Must be an in-demand route for the time of day/year.

Did you know ever since the created the fucking hotel tax, Vegas makes about 300 million a year, not to mention about 300 billion from tourist. Lived there for a about a year couldn't to leave.
Too quiet and wimpy sounding compared to the 707 turbofan. This is great for noise control, but not much for exciting sound.

LOL
You can tell it’s a domestic flight as the plane flies lower - and thus experiences more turbulence. International flights fly higher and so experience less turbulence as they fly above everything.
@twincitiesaviator
24 күн бұрын
Turbulence doesn’t necessarily occur lower vs higher, all depends on fronts, air masses, and the jet steam. The opposite for domestic vs international is actually true. International flights start off cruising lower due to their high loads, but get higher closer to their destination as they burn fuel(lower weight=higher cruise altitude). Domestic flights are generally lighter and can cruise higher overall.
