I have one of these and they are really that good. Yes, "rich coffee taste", but if you are someone who pays for a cappuccino, espresso, etc. at a cafe on the way to work, because you need that hit of java, then you will pay off the investment pretty quickly. I personally have 2 coffees in a travel mug each morning, and with a wife and 18yo daughter and 19yo son who live at home while going to university, who all drink coffee; I find this machine makes wonderful coffee (with good quality fresh whole beans) and financial sense to boot. YMMV, but I love!

Just started watching. When you filled tank with water , do you not put the white water conditioner thing in?

So...how do you maintain & clean it? What are the consumable parts?

I see some mention Jura terrority when it comes to price. I will actually change my jura e8 for this. The jura I got make really bitter coffe. Tried everything of settings, cleaning and different beans. 🤷‍♂️

Is the coffee’s and the hot water for tea nice and hot ?

Is there a hot chocolate mode putting the power in the ground coffee section?

Primadonna soul or Delonghi plus 370.95? Mostly concerned with the plastic? Are the internals of both soul and plus made of plastic? Grinder, pressure and frothing wise, are the same?

Most machines make warm but not hot . Does this one make it hot

Good review. Would also have been useful to cover how easy or difficult it is to keep the machine clean. The pricing on this device is pretty toppy. For £1,200, you are into Jura territory. And all this smartphone malarkey is 90% useless. You just want a machine that is reliable, makes good coffee and is easy to keep clean.

Machine has self cleaning features. It lets you know on the screen, when you need to press the clean button.

Agree. Keep a coffee machine simple - focus on making good coffee. Would love to see a review on jura machines. But would totally understand since this is a tech not coffee channel.

I’ve got this machine, had it around 5 months now..... app little fiddly, no need for it except customising your size of drinks for different cups (travel cups etc...)..... easy to keep clean tho, used a couple of water filters so far and descaled once.... use it every day for 2-3 bean to cups 👍🏼👌🏼

I've got their previous unit which is far bigger. Easy as to clean. Just bought this one for work and I'd imagine it would be the same as very similar design.

What’s the temperature like?

Can you integrate the app with Alexa, Siri, or Hey Google?

Is the milk drinks hot? Or are they ready to drink right away

the maxiumun whit water is only fo whit descaleing not for actully prepering the coffe itself

Hi everyone! Need advice. Someone is trying to sale me this machine at £550 with six months warranty. What is your opinion. Is it worth it?

Purchased this today - my first ever machine. On making a cappuccino and latte it tastes rather watery. I expected a thicker / creamier texture. Are my expectations misplaced or am I doing something wrong? All help much appreciated

I have a DeLonghi Eletta Evo , bought at Costco. Coffee temp is no hotter that 160 F compared to my Keurig 175 F. I’m thinking about returning it. I see the Philips 4500 selling for $999. US at Williams-Sonoma or splurge on the JURA SN8 for $2395 US Dollars. What do you think? Thanks

I have Siemens EQ6, don't recommend it, after using for couple of years, the grinder will work bad, the cleaning of the water (Brita system) won't work properly, all the cleaning set is expensive including tablets, you cant customize your coffee, they have only pre made programs. I prefer delonghi over Siemens.

So can you store beans inside the machine or no ? And what type of milk do you use uht so it doesnt go off ?

Yes tip a pack of beans into the hopper and the lid seals them in. You can use skimmed or semi-skimmed milk but you need to store the milk container in the fridge. when not in use.

Did you ever calculate how many times you can go to the coffee shop before this machine actually becomes a (much) cheaper option? Granted, it doesn’t match the perfect espressos and cappucinos you can get at some coffeeshops, but it does get very close indeed.

Not tested the Elite but the Soul is amazing. They do look identical though.

Not a fan of propriotary milk jug, almost all other brands have a hose that goes into whatever you have ur milk in.

Using a milk dispensing hose is great to begin with but after around 6 months you will get milk splutter no matter how many times you clean it

Do you have one? I have the Eletta EVO and it is not hot enough. I’m returning for Philips 4500, might as well have warm coffee and save $1200, LOL

Espresso pouring far too fast, I'd bet if you tasted an Espresso it would be bitter tasting.

£1200, lol...My Tassimo is quicker than this and makes great coffee at a fraction of the price (£30-50)

I have a Tassimo too, but this machine is on another level. You can taste the difference in freshness, bean to cup is basically like having Costa at home. If you drink a lot of coffee like myself, then the Tassimo pods can add up. Thanks for watching mate.

Pod machines are like printers. They're cheap to buy but the pods / ink cartridges is where they make their money. Plus you are stuck with the limited range of cartridges available for your machine.
