Liked both of your videos where you shared the likeness of your Premiers to the Mac keyboard. And Since you have both, might they be compatible (the kb900 or km7321 with their respective mouse) to use with a 9th gen A2428 iPad?

I appreciate your interest! Unfortunately, the Dell Premier Collaboration Keyboard KB900 and KM7321 are designed to be compatible with Windows and Android operating systems. They may not work optimally with an iPad, as Apple devices require MFi-certified accessories. But you can still try it, some non-certified keyboards do work, though features may be limited.

Good review. When Caps Lock is enabled, does it stay on as long as Caps Lock is enabled or does it switch off after a few seconds or so?

Thanks for your question! The Caps Lock light on the Dell Premier Collaboration Keyboard - KB900 remains lit as long as Caps Lock is enabled. It won't switch off after a few seconds; it keeps you informed about the status while you're typing.

KB900 upper surface made from metal, like KB700, or plastic?

Thanks for the review of the Dell KB900 keyboard. I wished the key legends also were backlit like on the logitech MX Keys Advance Illuminated instead of just backlit behind the key caps. The keyboard cost just as much as the logitech MX Keys.

Removable AAA batteries are much better then integrated battery. When integrated battery degrades you have to disassemble the keyboard and find a replacement. Much easier with rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries.

Eh!! Given how much they reengineered this. I prefer the integrated battery. Its only a $100 keyboard. If the battery goes bad after 3 years I’m probably due for a fresh keyboard.

@@DonMaloy that's not the reality of most of the people. I'm the kind of person that buys a very good device but expect it to last several years. So integrated batteries are bad, besides the fact that every year the battery will run over faster and faster.

I understand your perspective, the longevity of a device largely depends on how it's handled. While integrated batteries can't be replaced as easily, they do offer a sleeker design which a lot of manufacturers aim for. But it's a two-fold issue, isn't it? It depends on one's preference and how much a user values convenience (replaceable batteries) over aesthetics (integrated battery).@@henriquebs12

Amazing vid - thanks! Question: you are using USB for charging, but do you know if we can use USB C for operating the keyboard as well? Meaning -- i do NOT want to use bluetooth, instead, I want a wired setup because i find bluetooth to be laggy and choppy. Wondering if I can leave the USB C cable plugged in and use the keyboard that way?

Unfortunately not it seems, I can only use it for charging! I think its a downside in my opinion!

I have a question please: in my work pc bluetooth is blocked and I can't install proprietary software. So I need a keyboard that is just plug&play via dongle on windows and has teams support. In addition it's a plus if it connects to my MAC/tablet via bluetooth. Will this keyboard fit the needs?

Hi Jess. I got the Dell KB900 after your review and comments. I am not sure if its just me but the hand light senor is not working after this July 20th update and the backlights turn off within 2 seconds. Could you confirm if thats just me or maybe you are experiencing similar issue?

Yes it does!

this is almost a perfect keyboard. the issue with this keyboard is that its angled alot. im using some rubber feet to make it a bit more leveled.

That's disappointing to hear and I understand the inconvenience. It does appear to be always on doesn't have provision as of yet. Unfortunately, certain features are set by the manufacturer, but of course, as this is a brand new product, there may be improvements in the future.@@adamd1347
