I have a optiplex 7010 and I’m using a new ssd the pc says it’s there and the cables are connected but I followed your steps and it just says no boot device found and media test failure

How do you add the USB as a boot option in UEFI mode? When you go into the BIOS with UEFI settings, it does not show the USB Boot option, only when set to Legacy mode then the USB boot option shows up.

Help, I did what you did in the video and now my computer just has a black screen. Even when I hit F2 when I turn it on I can't get back to undo what I did. I tried F8 and also F12. I turn the computer on and there is just a black screen, no arrow or anything.

Does not work in a Delll Latitude 5500. The laptop does not have the legacy option, and I can't set HDD as a boot option even though I did successfully install windows 10 in the HDD through USB.

Legacy is mostly used when you install windows (or linux) by yourself and uefi when it comes with the laptop.. It is not a problem.

Is posslble that your laptop came with this windows, and now is corrupt. you need to reinstall Operative System

IHello, I have a Dell Inspiron 15, 5000 Series and now I am stuck at (No Boot Device Found. Press Any key to reboot the machine). Thank to your video, I was able to fix the Legacy and find the different options which were not visible before but acidently Windows Boot option was deleted by me Also you mentioned in begining to make sure HDD is visible, it shows the hard disk somenumber for example xyqywhs but does not show the HDD capacity. Anyway in the end it is not picking the window :(

Did you ever get your laptop to boot? Everything I tried does not resolve the problem, which I think that there isn't a operating system on my nephew's Inspiron 15 5578 2-in-1 laptop/tablet. I have had only a few days of learning about this computer's specifications, which I don't like because there isn't a ethernet port for direct connect to the router. There isn't a CD/DVD player; thus I connect my Memorex CD/DVD Writer 8x! I ran the diagnostics and it has been unreliable in my opinion because the diagnostics results in "No hardware problems", and also received "could be corrupt OS image or boot device is not enabled in Bios Setup argh$#%#$#^ I am suspect that the Dell diagnostics shows the HDD 0-0-0 and the O/S File 0-0-0. The HDD is a 1TB WD-Blue and approximately 70GB of something is on the HDD. I try to install Windows 10 and I receive a pop-up message that Windows 10 cannot be installed on this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu. I am befuddled in resolving this problem. Last week while learning about this laptop [my nephew's fiancée's Dell Laptop] I disassembled it and forgot to take note of the model, but I only knew it is a Dell Inspirion 15 5000 series, I think it is a 2-in-1; however, I did not try to flip it into a tablet before I disassembled it. The nomenclature I found was new to me [Reg Model P58F, Reg Type No - P58F001. My nephew told me that this laptop has been repaired twice because of HDD problems, once under warranty and once out of warranty (?): the laptop would not bootup to the operating system. I attempted to bootup the laptop, but it would not - the Dell Bios (?) screen popup message stated something about the hard drive [I forgot to take a photo]. I inserted the SATA Drive into my BlacX Duet and the WD Blue MDL:WD10SPZX-75Z10T2 was not recognized. I also checked the memory and I was concerned if it is the correct memory card? The memory bank is covered with a illustration labeling identifying the memory as DIMM1/DDR4 and DIMM2/DDR4 only: the memory is a Samsung memory card, K02C00082523062E91 1825 4GB 1Rx16 PC4-2400T-SCO-11 M471A5244BB0-CRC
