Bro i have the same laptop model with i7 4810mq my problem is when i play any game like Origins or battlefield 4 or 1 the GPU temp goes up to 98c and just after few minutes of playing the laptop start throttling and i have no performance at all. i tired throttle stop app but i thinks this will damage the motherboard bcs he prevent the laptop from being throttling but the temp still very high any ideas to fix this overheating issue?

Is there an upgraded fan for this unit? I have an e6530 with 3740qm. I'm idling at about 50C and hovering just under 100C under load. The fans also never shut off.

No. I have i7 4800mq and it hovering to 98C in bad termal paste. Then I try to use Arctic MX4 and the temperature fall down to 80

The first paste was: Titan nano greese, that is good for PC but not good for powerfull laptops like your

@@S3rG0 did you have a problem with your fans running all the time? Even in win 10 if I use power saver and it drops the cpu to 1ghz at idle, the fans still run and idle is still 50-55C.

Hi bro i have the same laptop and i have a big problem with the fan it makes a weird noise (like a car engine) even when the laptop is idle i tried to clean the fan and i updated the bios but nothing worked i don't know if it's a common problem in this model or what, could you suggest me something ?

You should replace your fan, cleaning do not help with this problem

Yes, unfortunately this is normal. i7 4810MQ and Radeon HD 8790M are very hot CPU and GPU and the cooling system is insufficient for this laptop. ru.ifixit.com/Device/Dell_Latitude_E6540#Section__AMD_Radeon_8790M_GPU_failure_Secondary_motherboard_problem

I had the same issue, I disabled the Intel turbo boast from the bios to get the idle temp below 50c.

Можешь пожалуйста помочь, имею ноут dell latitude e6540, была проблема с перегревом и отключением от этого ноута во время игры, когда смотрел в Aida64 писало что грелся "чипсет" как потом выяснилось это чипы видео памяти, в играх грелись к 105° и выключался ноут, я поменял термопасту на процессоре, видяхе GD900 и поставил новые термопрокладки для видео памяти на 0,5мм, ситуация стала чуть лучше, он смог но когда нагружаешь по полной все равно выключается и сильно греется видео память и видяха, видяха максимум видел 90°, я проверял медные трубки, они тепло передают, кулер и радиатор от пыли почистил, он вроде сам крутится , макс обороты 4700, я хз что вообще делать, может у меня хуевая термопаста, но термопрокладки вроде норм были, но здесь до этого стояли по идеи на 1мм, но они все равно четко прижимаются, да и если бы не было проблем с видео памятью, то все равно 90° на чипе видяхи это слишком много, помогите пожалуйста, как решить проблему, а андервольтить видяху я не могу, в MSI AFTOBURNER не доступный пункт core voltage, питание видяхи 1.100-1.200V, что я считаю слишком много, занизить никак не могу , может есть какие-то способы ?

Ну пасту я мастив MX4, порівнював температури з гд900 но на компі, різниця 2 градуси, тобто не дуже велика, поже бути перегрів через малий забір повітря знизу, болти системи охолодження мають пружинки, мб вони погано прижимають, мона попробувати їх трішки розтянути, так буде плотніше.
