Hi...mine is n4010...will I be able to install nvme ssd instead of my hard disk?? Does n4010 has the required slots for nvme type ssd. If not, can u pls suggest me the best alternate option under 5k INR

you DO NOT have to remove the LCD screen. i fixed my stepdads laptop today and DID NOT have to remove the LCD screen. i been doing this type of work since i was 10yrs old. about to be 41yrs old may 3, 2022.

Hello, I currently have 2gb hynix + 4gb transcend DDR3 1333mhz RAM on my N4110. I want to do SSD upgrade and RAM upgrade. Can I remove 2gb and add 8gb RAM making it 8 +4 = 12gb RAM? Will motherboard support 12 or 8 is max?

so-dimm DDR3-1333 6-8GB, max 8GB+8GB: Kingston, Crucial, Hynix, Nania, Samsung, Elpida. you can replace the processor in this laptop. What processor do you have?

@@trivino2 you have Windows 32-bit. You need to install Windows 7 x64 (Professional or Ultimate) in order for the laptop to use up to 16GB of RAM. You can Windows 10 x64.

@@trivino2 buy 8gb DDR3-1333 memory module and install with 2gb memory module. And sell the 4GB memory module and return some of the money. 10GB of RAM is enough for you with a margin for all tasks.

@@trivino2 do you have an i3-2330m processor? Is there a discrete card Nvidia or just an integrated card HD Graphics 3000? you can install the CPU-Z program into a laptop and see what processor you have and what video card (tab "Graphics")

Hello, instead of disassembling the entire laptop I have seen that the dvd reader can be replaced by a ssd where windows is installed, leaving the original hdd as secondary storage. Could you tell me if that is possible and if the performance would be the same? If your answer is yes, could you do a tutorial? Thanks

I do like Kingston but Samsung evo is the best but pricey .

sorry, can you help me? I have a little problem with my laptop, same type as Dell Inspiron N4110. So this is the problem, yesterday I updated Windows to Windows 10. Yes before that it was Windows 10 but I saw that the window had to be updated, that's why I updated it. After I installed it was still fine, but somehow it didn't work properly. when I turn it on, it turns black and a blue screen appears about the fixed your problem. Thanks, and i hope you reply this

Make sure you do replace the thermal paste as well as the hard drive to SSD and Upgrade the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB!

Sorry for the late reply. Most of the SSD from the market nowadays are almost same except some top brand like Samsung, seagate .

I did exactly the same in my notebook, but now it doesn't start the mother board (not even the dell logo appears, but the screen is on). Do you have any ideia of what happened? Thank you very much!

If u just took the harddrive out and swapped it with the SSD none of the stuff on the harddrive will be on the SSD including the operating system

@@WaterDrinker7777 Sure. But the motherboard does not depend on the hard drive. Thus, when not even it starts, something is in trouble. At the end, it was a cable misconnected. haha Thank you anyway!

@@thepcphone settings was using for HDD but still not picking up windoss boot from USB. But it's picking up ubuntu but still showing errors.
