Oh yeh, I work on desktops all the time. I get way fewer in than i use too. Mostly gaming rigs, troubleshooting stuff. It's moving to a portable world, ya know.

@@CadillacComputerCenter Yes it is. If I start to clone the slow mechanical hard drive on my Dad’s slow Lenovo desktop PC, what if Windows 10 goes to sleep? Will the cloning process continue?

Hello, I have the same laptop model and in games the processor reaches 95 degrees, the paste is replaced, why is the ventilation on the cover covered with aluminum foil, if I peel it off is it not better?

This model, I believe, draws air in from bottom, and blows out side. Any ventilation holes on bottom should be clear, yes.

@@CadillacComputerCenter Thanks for the info, I think yes the cooling is made to take air in and hot air out through the same vents bad cooling system
Is cloning necessary? What happens if you install it without cloning?

@Max M if you install a new ssd without cloning the old hdd you will not have Windows on it unless you do a clean install. The computer will say no bootable device.
