So i have MSI GE76 Raider thinking about switching to Dell G15 5511.yes I am downgrading to save a few bucks. But it costco so 3 month return policy. Should I switch or no? i don't care about the screen size or refresh rate since I'm connecting to monitor anyway.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback! It runs Age of Empires 4 extremely smooth. You won't ever notice a lag or freeze connected with the performance of the laptop. I like strategic games as well, I play AE 4 sometimes =D

Hello! Yes, this machine is VR-ready. I don’t have VR gear though, so I can’t test how it handles those games on high settings. And yes, it is a nice choice for live-streaming!

Hi Brian thanks for the great video, I got one after watching your video I got one for myself last week. Can you please advise me as I don't get the same fps as displayed in your video, i've watched a ton of videos on trying different settings and nothings seems to work even if I lower the graphic settings it doesn't help much. For instance on Call of duty Warzone i don't get close 70fps even set on medium graphic settings Please any help or advise would be very much appreciated🙏

You have to plug in and charge your laptop while gaming.

The model which is available in India has an rtx 3060 with 115v+10v dynamic watt and 165hz screen and there us also four zone rgb keyboard

i have it, with 32gb ram. ive been playing COD getting 120fps, far cry, ive used external display at 1440p and temps run a lil higher, temps cpu goes to 90 and gpu goes to 86. i have a cooling pad under it and it helps bring down gpu to 84. ive been looking for a detailed review as well.

Exactly that's the first thing I noticed when I got mine back in June. I don't know why he said it's clocked in at 90W. This might sound pretty random but do you have the Radeon software file that came with your laptop? I fucked around with mine by downloading the adrenalin version and after every driver update it crashes on me saying software and driver files are incompatible.

@@Daquarius_. I have the drivers for Radeon from Dell's website but I turned the internal gpu off in Bios and using 3060 all the time

When it says here that valorant runs up to 300 fps, I have the laptop but my game is going less than 90 frames, also like any game, Minecraft, Rainbow six, the frames are lower than like 90, why's that?

make sure you run the alienware software and that G power button to boost gpu, cpu and the fans at full speed. you'll see a big difference.

@@imadscientist you can find it on amazon. With enough luck and negotiation skill, you can convince Dell support to send it to you, or to give you 20-30$ refund, so you can buy it in Amazon (or somewhere else). Other than that, G15 is good Laptop.

@@EngiNetion yup, it's 120hz, literally the same model from the video, the only difference is that TGP is 130w, maybe it's a different version by region or whatever, but my system info says 130W XD

I like you video more honest that others but there are some bad points in this rig, its a solid mid high, the high for its hardware, but I think when I buy it it was PCI 4 and not it is 3 and you need a special bracket sells apart by the way to add the other sdd, and have a normal Dell bios so you can modify nothing for gaming and not have XMP profiles so you are stuck with high latency ram memorys, i just order a 32gb Corsair Vengance 3200 cl22 and see what happen

Beware!!!!! Corsair, Kingston and Ballistix RAM modules are not compatible, in this Dell G15 5511, you have to buy Crucial (normal no Ballistix or G. Skill Ripjaws all in CL 22
