Recently Mantsinen partnered with UTC Overseas, Inc., BBC Chartering, and our master distributor SMH GROUP to deliver a Mantsinen 300 rubber tire gantry machine fully assembled and tested from Finland to Jacksonville, FL.
Delivering a machine that weighs over 880,000 pounds and stands 43 feet tall on the deck of an ocean going vessel was not a small task, but the seamless collaboration amongst the partners made it all possible, and the customer was able to receive their machine in one piece and put it to work the next day!
The Mantsinen 300 is a highly versatile machine that will allow the end user to broaden their service offering to their customers enhancing their market position in the region. This machine is already outperforming the two previously used cable cranes and will keep up with the port’s growth and changing material handling needs also in the future.
