Delivering 126 Shimano rods to the middle of nowhere, Manitoba - Reindeer Lake VLOG
Спорт
We picked the most remotely accessible community in Manitoba to donate the Shimano rod & reel combos from the 39hrs prizes won by Team Manitoba (Aaron Wiebe & Manny Milas) during last winter's 39hrs. Jay and Aaron embark on the journey...beyond all roads, and across Reindeer Lake, to the community of Brochet... Afterward, they stick around and sample the trophy Pike and Lake Trout fishing for an additional 1.5 days.
...Team Saskatchewan (Adam & Sean Konrad) donated the 296 rods they won (during the first 39hrs and the additional ones in the TieBreaker) to a kids fishing day in spring. We have something upcoming planned for the 84 rods won by Team Shimano (Paul & Taro) during the first 39hrs series....

@@ethanpollock2096 lol true, go visit those kids @uncutangling find one that got a rod and take them fishing
Delivering rods to kids that far North may be the best thing I've seen in fishing. Very cool Aaron, very cool.

Ben Johnson Outdoors I'm just saying, don't intend to be rude, but you do realize that it takes time and money to make these big fishing videos, right? So would you rather have him take his time to make really good videos or to make bad videos and upload them more frequently. I say quality over quantity. Again, I don't intend for this to come across as rude, but it could be taken that way.

Ben Johnson we all do
Kudos to you Aaron for promoting the use of the Dead Man's lanyard switch. It's so important for safety. My partner and I rescued a couple who were thrown from their boat. The guy was thrown clear and the lady was hanging on to the side of the boat trying to keep from being pulled under it into the spinning prop which would have cut her to ribbons. He would have drowned. If we hadn't been there they'd both be dead. So it is wonderful to see you promote the use of that dead mans lanyard to stop the motor. To many people don't use them. That was quite the adventure getting there. I wish you had done a multipart episode for this trip. I would have liked to see more of your fishing and the return trip adventure. Sleeping in the boat like that in that cold weather is pretty hard core!! I couldn't do it anymore, to old. I've boated up to the N.E. section of Lac Seul and I thought that was a hardcore trip. lol It was child's play compared to this trip of yours. Mac and Cheese with Moose cooked in the boat!! Awesome fun.

Thanks for the detailed comments, Paulina, you're always so thorough in your remarks! Kill cord usage could have saved many lives over the years. :(

Thanks for your reply and kind comment back to me. That kill cord is so important. So keep spreading that message. One other thing that struck me, I'm surprised you don't have a kicker motor on that big Alumacraft. That too is a safety item on trips like this one where you're in remote waters with little or no help should you break down. You hit an uncharted reef, like you did in this video, and tear off your lower unit you're pretty much screwed without a kicker. One request: More muskie videos please.

This is my single favorite uncut angling video. I’ve watched it 5 times now. It’s awesome
You sir, are a great ambassador for the sport. Knowledgeable, entertaining and a great personality for a host. One detail I would like to mention, I'm not sure how comfortable I would be sleeping under a tarp with a propane tank... Otherwise, Awesome video. Keep up the great work, you have put Manitoba on the map as a destination for me to visit and fish.

props to you two for going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure kids get fishing rods. amen!
Uncut angling videos are worth watching multiple times, always good content
I watch 39 hours almost every night before I go to bed to help me relax after a long day or to get me pumped before I wake up for a morning of fishing. I love this video following your trip to the school. It is so cool to see the journey that started with 39 hours reach the finish line at the school to donate the shimano rods. Thanks for doing what you do and being who you are. Each new uncut angling video is like a little Christmas present that brings this fellow angler much joy and entertainment.

I was thinking the same thing. That was a damn good day out on the water. Beautiful trout after beautiful trout....and a pike double header! Amazing work boys.
That was an amazing video! Way to go guys
Best episode yet fellas , awesome 🍻
I fished a branch lake off Reindeer in '88 over the summer solstice. We stopped counting Pike after the first few hours. Seemed like every cast. A friend got a 37# pike. I got one that stretched 9" across eyesockets, but let it go. We could only keep one for the trip and thought we'd get bigger yet. Thanx for the trip down memory lake.
Amazing trip guys, really enjoyed the video. Thanks.
6 years later, and this story never gets old.
still one of my fav videos of urs. would love to see u guys team up again and go even further into nunavut or nwt
That is one awesome video how you guys gave out the combo and traveling that far to get them out 👍👍👍👍
Blacktiph and you are the 2 best fishing youtubers
You guys Rock! Thank you for your gifts to the kiddos. I just subbed
Killer video. That pike was huge!!!
As you come into Lynn Lake and you go past Gordys Esso, take a left, drive a block or two and go right, you'll see a big white tank that has gas, and if you need it and can't wait for Gordy to open, they have a little pay station self service place. The part where you guys stopped with the running water is Vanderkachoove, which is an unbelievable walleye lake. Every spring we travel close to 1200 miles to fish up there. I'm from the states but it was really cool having been to where you guys passed through.
Wow! Living the dream! Thumbs up guys!
That reef you were fishing that you said was a mile long, the camp just north east of there belongs to my father. Im originally from Brochet and just found this video today. Good job making it past North Porcupine in that wind.
Awesome video, beautiful fish up there!
Great thing you guys did here!
YAY!!! uncut is back haha love the videos
Awesome videos you do such a great job.
Fantastic! I truly envy you guys. Hopefully, some day I will find the way and the chance to travel to such a spot. Peace out!
