Hopefully things will be back to the way we used to know them soon!
2:09 Unless you brought your own dishes to the food stalls, I don't think you're supposed to be feeding dogs out of the reusable bowls meant for customers. That's unsanitary and not everyone shares the same level of comfort with animals. Foam takeout containers are just fine. Other than that, I appreciate you doing some good for the doggies and absolutely loving your vlogs.

Lucy, you are such a kindhearted woman and animal lover, could you please do a video supporting sterilisation of cats and dogs so to avoid unwanted pregnancies because many owners dump newborn puppies and kittens in trash or sugarcane fields or dumping grounds and so on.

Thanks Ash for clearing that up 👍🏻
1.Never sit down under a coconut tree if you do not want a crack head. 2.These street vendors do well financially and I would like then to improve their food stall and clean surrounding and pay attention to food hygiene.Either they are selfish and have a don't care attitude or plain stupid.Not many of them get my money when i visit Mauritius.Best safe food is cooked and eaten at home..Trust me on that. 3.Why so many dogs on the street?The Ministry of the environment in Mauritius is useless and incompetent. Sometimes I want to scream when I visit.
Can't believe you let the dogs eat out of the ladies bowls. That's absolutely disgusting🤮
@LucyLeheilleix

That's why the saying exists - No good deed goes unpunished... Really was just trying to help out the poor stray dogs.
Hi, when talking about Mauritian food maybe try eliminating phrases such as pasta and wrap as it seems you’re trying to whitewash Mauritian food for a particular audience. I’m sure it’s not intentional. It maybe worth talking about the communities who introduced these food as such as the Chinese Mauritian community when talking about mine and the Indo Mauritian community when talking about dhal puri and Franco Mauritian community when talking about Rougaille. The world has moved on since the 1980s.

Thanks for the comment. You bring up some very interesting observations.
Samosa is originated in India only... When u say, it's from Asia and Africa n they are mainly vegetables like potatos ...then u must be knowing that in Asia... And Africa where meat and fish is stable food.. Wherever we Indians went we shared our vegetarian food and everyone likes it.... Don't share wrong info
@LucyLeheilleix
2 жыл бұрын
Look online. Most articles say the samosa came from the Middle East… I take pride in my videos and a lot goes into making them. Spreading false info is not what I do.
