Tasty should make a video with recipes for other different types of boba tea you can make at home without using powder. Like honeydew, mango, taro... etc.

For Thai Tea we use sweetened condensed milk instead of sugar syrup and half and half..

For the Thai tea,the idea of boiling the tea is great to come out the flavor,but we rarely really use sugar,we just put sweetened condensed milk at the bottom following the the tea and evaporated milk on top,i swear it’ll taste 100 times better

Ian Hayden I think it’s because Tasty’s main audience is American, and American food already takes a lot of influence from European culture, whereas Asian food is generally unknown. Also I’m pretty sure Tasty has done some Hispanic food, like Brazilian desserts and taco variations.
@ianhayden6088

0izzi0 taco's are not the whole Spanish cuisine, and America doesn't have anything like European cuisine

0izzi0 but the Hispanic - inspired food isn’t really Hispanic it’s actually really irritating for a Hispanic or Latino viewer
@candylego
6 жыл бұрын
Ian Hayden I didn’t mean to say America includes European food, just that European food is more widely known. For example, Italian food has become a staple in America, along with French pastries, other sorts of food that I can’t think of off the top of my head. And tacos was just something I thought that wasn’t inherently “American”, even if it isn’t Spanish.

I LUVV the Thai Iced Tea and the Pearl Milk Tea.
I’m Thai and actually we use sweetened condensed milk and sugar. We never use syrup and half-half something like that xD we don’t have it. But your recipe looks nice too. Thanks for choosing Thai tea.
Hey, it’s a great video but Asia is a huge and diverse place. I think it would be better to be more specific about the region since these are all (I believe) Southeast Asian drinks. For example, something that’s South Asian (eg Indian) is very very different from something that’s East Asian (eg Japanese). Since Asian regions are large enough on their own to be compared to Europe, it’s important for distinctions to be made. Sorry if I sounded a bit longwinded, have a nice day everyone!

Tips for making boba! Make boba in a rice cooker!! Sounds weird but the boba will be end up so soft omg. Just add the syrup mixture after it’s finished
Over here in thailand we use condensed milk and the tea concentrate and a little bit of sugar and normal milk but u can also substitute the normal milk with half and half
Mango lassi best of those
That is not how I would make Thai tea. At least for me anyway. My family never uses Half-n-half. But great video.
Eid Mubarak everyone! Cheers from Singapore! PS, pearl milk tea costs like 1-2$ in our local stalls n markets but branded ones Like Gongcha LiHo! KOI cafè costs like 3 $!
I soak the bobas in Honey mixed with a little bit of water instead, its sweeter and blends better with milk tea
wait 2 cups of sugar, wtf
In Vietnam we love coconut ice coffee and hot egg coffee. I hope you can try to make this
Some tips for better milk tea boba, first try using a instant coffee machine thingys and put tea powder in there and follow the similar coffee process, or if you really don't care a lot about a just bit of powder in ur tea and you wanna make it fast, put some water and tea powder in the microwave and then filter out the powder there will be just a bit remaining. Also try soaking the boba in honey, it makes it mire flavorful and absorbs it better.
The Thai tea looks so good!

Teh tarik and cendol too!yumm!!
With the Vietnamese coffee you're supposed to add a splash of hot water, wait for the coffee grains to swell then add the rest of the water and let it slowly drip through
I just put together the Thai Tea and Bubble Tea recipes to make Thai Bubble Tea, would recommend! 😋😋😋
making tapioca pearls w/ maple syrup is really good
Condensed milk instead of sugar syrup for Thai tea yields a tastier result! Also straining through a cheese cloth is essential to not having those bits of tea leaves end up in your mouth.
