In India governments make such projects. But the difficult part is maintaining it. Especially the plants. I hope Delhi maintains this beautiful walkway and keep it as it is.

It's given to private company at annual maintenance payment. If aap stays it will be maintained if bjp congress comes it will be taxed or not maintained because bjp congress will demand commission for extending contract.

Ok lets do some math's, most populated European city is berlin which has population density of 10690 people per square mile, while Delhi has 29252 people per Square mile. You want to promote walking, then build good parks, I mean I don't want to walk in a shit weather and near toxic fumes of vehicles unless I am in much cleaner EU city. In my opinion On roads like that there should only be just a cycling track nothing more. Now coming to the road in this video, there is nothing along the road where you would walk to, it just a main road which connects a bunch of different localities. unlike EU city that has offices and residential building in the same block.

This is missing in most indians today, while we see this in plenty if 99% of common people in China. Indian people are far behind Chinese people in such things as civics and kindness and not being racist. Just see how in india the cab n auto drivers harass tourists and local with no fear of punishment from freebie sarkars be it kajriwal or Momota or left khangress chor, such chor leaders will never have the moral aptitude nor strength to do anything that may be anti populist. People have little problem taking right tuns on the wrong side, or jumping lanes jumping red lights , just to save 5 minutes they put other people's lives at risk or cause traffic jams. Same attitude we see in religious people using lud speakers trying to please and appease hard of hearing gods for good results in exams or business etc, but no heed to the harm and inconvenience they cause to others who may have heart problems or better students who are actually studying for exams instead of taking the god's support.

Metro & buses will get more patrons if walking infra is in place. Wish there was scope for retail kiosks in and around metro stations and bus stops. Delhi is the only place where road side parking is fortunately restricted. Road side parking is the biggest nuisance ever.

Cycles koi use nahi kar raha hai foreign me cycles ka bahut craze hai unka bikes/cars ko luxury ke hisab se jada nahi dekhte . Dhruv tatii ki cars ban wali video dekho acha explain kiya hai

only if they maintaine it well and clean twice a day. In china and other major cities around the world they cleans road and surrounding everytime like 4-5 times a day

The free eating habit of people n corruption instinct of neats is the biggest hindrance in the path of development of India.

Main pain is our people actually use road instead of foot path so , car owners park on foot path sad but true

This is not enough, Delhi should look so clean than this, It has budget, there should be the will to make it least carbon emitting metro city of world with good spaces for people to walk across city and no wires haging up in any part of city with proper flood drain channells and proper water bodies which has no turbidity.

AAP is spending too lavishly on some of these structures over footpaths. Instead they could have promoted herb gardens or fruit trees. I don’t see any architecture in these steels based structures or paintings on wall. Expensive areas and posh locations in other countries don’t use painting or heavy colors on walls as it kind of looks like graphite…which reduces ambiance!

@@sumitsharma4706 abe lodu har koi andh bhakt nahi hota, ye substandard infrastructure hai chahe woh BJP ne hi banayi ho yehi kahenge. China ko dekh aur ye manhus infrastructure ko dekh. Quality nahi kuch nahi. Urban planning naam ki cheez hai hi nahi aur ye national capital hai India ka global standards wali city. Ye dikhayenge kya dunia ko? Syria bhi isse achi infrastructure banati hai aur unka GDP hamare aas paas bhi nahi hai.
