Yes, we can say those as one of draw backs but Iam glad the media is showing the ground reality when our Govt is trying to manipulate the covid crisis and hiding figures. Media over the past years has been taken over by political powers merely behaving transparent and has forgotten it's values. Iam glad the media this time has been in many cases transparent and is raising out the voices.

Lost 3 close relatives in 2 weeks , myself tested positive..Nobody listens , called atleast 500 phone no. to get a hospital bed..but no help , then got a hospital when it was too late...Sleepless nights , fear , anguish that's all what we have now..

Lost my cousin and his mom, my aunt in last two days. I'm speechless, this is the worst time to be in India when you can't even find a oxygen bed let alone a ventilator or ICU. This is what hopelessness looks like. This is a crime against humanity, we had one year to prepare for this.

Why is reporter not asking that person to wear mask. I know, he must be under work stress, but he should be careful. It is also reporter's responsibility to tell him, as the same is broadcasted and giving wrong example.

His safety is also that much important. I was talking abt reporter, he could have told him before taking his interview.

If 400 bodies are being cremated alone in this crematorium we can only imagine the exact figures could be much more higher. In Delhi alone we can estimate almost 2000 to 2500 (or more) being cremated or burnt everyday. So accordingly if we estimate the daily covid deaths in India it can be more then 6000-7000 or more deaths in a day.

We are all human beings ultimately we all have to leave this planet to some another world

I respect the Hindus belief system but what India needs is fresh Healthy Oxygen supply and Nature is another great source for this. Cutting Trees down for their Wood and at the same time polluting the Air with the burning of all these Bodies can only make things worse for India. Then imagine how much Ash is going to be going into the Rivers. Sadhguru has recently been promoting the planting of trees to help India deal with cleaning the Air. Mass Grave sites would be a better and wiser option. God bless you my Indian Brothers and Sisters and may you overcome these trouble times very soon.

Every morning and evening when I go to my terrace to water plants, I see black soot (burnt). I have a strong feeling it's coming from burning all this. Is it just me or do you also see black soot in your terrace? 😢 Oh God, please end this pandemic soon.

What a horrible situation. The Govt. is manipulating death data. The www.covid19india.org/state/DL shows around 350-400 deaths in Delhi per day. We can easily assume daily COVID death in India is at least 3 times more than reported by Govt.

Thank the gov for providing full service in crematorium in the country

This situation is really tragic. In Trinidad here the situation is becoming very bad, my prayers are with you all in India.

My uncle died due to lack of medical care in Delhi and had to be cremated in nigam bodh ghat. So many families are getting ruined forever, the pain is making us numb. Very difficult time for my beloved country, India.

That guy was much more sane and provided valuable information in regard with the situation on the ground. It's sad to see so many deaths and gratifying to see Crematoriums providing decent facility for burning of the bodies unlike some people/ organization on the healthcare side who are charging exhorbitant amount for ambulances/ oxygen cylinders/ ICU beds etc. If some bad guys were not there societies would have been much better. 🙏

Shame on the government that they are not even providing basic health care and education services despite of huge taxes we as a citizen need to pay. If every essential service has to be privatized then why should we pay tax to the government.

Explain to me how the government is getting away with reporting a death toll in the 300s for Delhi when that many are being cremated in one site? What corrupt nonsense is going on?! Say there are 100 cremation sites, that would be 300*100 sites = 30,000 deaths/day! And that doesn’t even account for burials!

You don't need to be a doctor to understand that ppl are dying cos of other factors too and just not the popular Covid...time teaches everyone

If 400 unfortunately dead persons had been cremated in this region alone, but the official figures advance by the gov are fake and out of date for the whole Indian country

I think statement of particular person must be verified for better news reporting.

The" beautiful body" is silently burning in the fire. Almost emotionless.

Dear e think, because of the fire, it is spreading in the air, senses do something. Do not put it, bury these.

They should bury them as burning is causing smoke and harm to the environment and green house gases.

But India and it's people didn't follow or listen to any of the precautions. So this is a result. Learning lesson for all. The person responding to the questions isn't wearing a mask. Some are some still don't. Vaccines are not available for everyone. India has a long road ahead.

People should be responsible for themselves and have self discipline and not run into huge gatherings where COVID19 is being spread . There must be consequence for those that arranged this large gatherings at a time when COVID 19 was present in the Country. This is a very sad time for all of us.

The one near my home already sends ashes ,blanket ,cotton pieces in air and this subsides on people's rooftops

@captain levi you kidding me? Crematoriums(some) are reporting 200 bodies a day and that guy said there are over 100 such grounds. Even if you take 50 as an avg per ground. That's some 5000 touching figure
