I saw her sing un-mic'd at a bread shop of all places on W Broadway in Vancouver about 20 years ago, it sounded liked there were 3 people singing through an fx processor on a big P.A. UNREAL.

Absolutely amazing!

This is like one of those middle school talent show performances where two bff’s do a duet. One of them can sing and other can’t but the one than can is distracted and you can still kinda hear her talent over the other one.

Sarah McLachlan is just the best... I had been waiting to actually somebody uploaded this video with Sarah singing live... Thanks for sharing... I've noticed that a lot of peers are commenting about the audio quality... It may be bad, but the fact that Sarah is on video singing with Delirium is priceless... And again thanks for sharing.

Hard to tell which voice is better. Both singers compliment each other so good.

They're both great singers, I just think their voices DEFINITELY don't mix

Probably...maybe one or two others; when KARMA was made all the songs had been composed and recorded already without vocals, then individual tracks were sent out to vocalists on the NETTWERK label at the time, one of which was Sarah. The vocalists wrote their own lyrics, recorded them and sent the rough mix back to Bill and Rhys where it was mastered. With the exception of Kristy (who was based in Vancouver anyway) I don't think any of the vocalists ever saw any studio time with the band when this album was made. Only later did they bring Kristy in to carry the road tour.

It can't be easy to share center stage with Sarah McLachlan. With the possible exception of Enya, nobody even comes close to her in terms of vocal quality, professionalism, technical precision, depth and range of tone, and ability to physically emote.

Kirsty is a great singer and usually does a fine job of singing "guest vocalist" song for Delerium.... but she is no match for Sarah on this one. Silence is Sarah's song.
