There was no chemistry and vibe in the previous line-up of the band, at least in the last tour - that's why they broke up.

@@goolmanz7041 Charlotte had moments in all their shows when she couldn't even keep a note, she often lost her breath after a high pitch. That's not the case with Diana. I'm not sure who needs ear washing (and maybe brain check?) more, me or you? 🙄

Love it. Diana a did a great job. So did rest of Delain boys.U remember getting back live concerts after covid and band getting use to playing with each other stage might take a bit. Im sure they were a bit nervous. Everyone be patient it will work great for Delain 😊😊❤️❤️🎤🎸🎹🥁🎚🎵🎶🎵

If I had to make one criticism - and this is really, really nitpicky - it's that she's missing a bit of the grit that Charlotte has. It's the difference in the 'I'm' of "Ohh, I'm falling". But that's a tiny, tiny thing and it doesn't change the fact that she has a beautiful voice that works really well with the band's sound. Can't wait for the new album!

Diana's phenomenal. Considering the huge stress and anxiety, this is suuuuch a big win! Maybe lacks Charlotte's emotion a bit, but this may very much change with some experience. Just played 2 lives, this one and one with Charlotte simultaneously, syncing them perfectly and just lowering the sound from time to either of these to hear only one of them. I gotta admit Diana's singing live might be even better than Charlottes (at least on Hands of Gold). Also Ludo's growls are mind-bending. Definitely sounds better than before.

This is a typical fan based video, mostly crap, but nonetheless, Diana clearly carries the vocals very well. This should work for a long time.

I found it too. She sounds awesome anyways, but this is a bit different than her voice in The Quest and the Curse. I hope that's her real voice and not an attempt to mimick Charlotte's.

@@tonim89 I listened to her non-Delain stuff and she’s mimicking Charlotte quite a bit. If that was her real voice, fine, but it isn’t really.

So excited to see Delain live. Thanks for the video, but like all phone videos the sound left me wanting. I am anxious to see and hear a proper live video released by the band. Sound crew, give Diana's voice more punch please.

You obviously have no clue what made and makes Delain. This is totally Delain. Same songwriters, original band-members returned. Listen to Charlotte's solo work. Now that's totally not Delain.

@@Leon-rf5vq Actually No. Martijn was already famous before that because he played in Within Temptation. He made Charlotte famous afterwards when he choose her as a main singer for Delain, and gathered famous guest singers around her. People mis identify bands loads of times. They always have a romantic idea about how bands work. But in the end It's all about two factors mainly. the songwriter(s) and the singer. So not only the singer. And a singer can be successfully replaced (of which there are plenty examples) But replacing the songwriter is a different matter. It seems that Delain already managed to replace the singer successfully with only one song out. The figures and fast majority of the comments speak for itself, wether you like it or not.
