My favourite bit in this episode is Del and trigger in the pub toilet where Del says “I just don’t know what I’m gonna do” (regarding his supposed daughter) and trig knocks on cubicle door saying “come on hurry up!” hahaha
The best bit of this episode for me is when Rodney turns up at Junie's flat to see Debbie, and is checking himself in the mirror, and Del pops up behind him puffing on his cigar, it's a brilliant bit of silent comedy business!

John Sullivan really knew how to turn a tragic moment in to comedy, or a comedy moment into tragedy then back in to comedy

The best part of this episode was the ongoing joke when Del reveals to his pals that he's Debby's father and everyone points out, "...but she is a pretty girl!"
I love Del Boy
When Del Boy was leaving he should have gave the flowers to Mickey.

I worked with a guy who was just like Del boy. One day he asked me to take his Rolex that his brother gave him to the watch repairer and on my return the repair guy with all seriousness said, "I'm sorry to tell you love but your friends watch isn't real." I said, "That's alright; knowing who it belongs to and who gave it to him I would have been more surprised if you'd told me it was real!"

great stuff. It almost looks like HD on a small youtube screen. i wonder if the BBC could enhance it so we get the same quality on our big plasma TV screens.

@ travelling Tom. It’s a travesty. The British public paid the bbc tax to make these programmes, then the disgraceful bbc have the audacity to make these programmes subscription only. So we have to pay tv tax, and subscription. So glad I cancelled the tv tax in March. Will never pay it again.
Hastily written episode due to the circumstances of the time, hence why the Trotter's flat quite clearly is also playing the flat in this scene, just some different wallpaper and furniture!

They had just started filming the fourth series and Leonard Pearce (who grandad) was taken ill. So John sullivan wrote this episode quickly only featuring the two leads. Later Leonard died so all his scenes were replaced with uncle Albert. That's how I think it happened.

not necessarily so but i dont know for sure. many of these flats for the less well off had the same designs, some bigger , some smaller , depending on what your needs were.
Imagine this has happened in real life with David Jason coming to know last year that he has a daughter from a fling in 1970. Only got to know 52 years later.
I don't blame June for cheating with Albie Littlewood because he's gorgeous in "Rock & chips"
They didn't have DNA in them days. 😃😃😃
