Keep in mind that Deku was EXTREMELY tired, hungry, and dehydrated and yet it took *all* of class a to get him to listen. If he wasn't in that condition, they *never* would of been able to catch up to him. Also im pretty certain that if he was put in zero gravity at 1:55 they would of been left behind in literal SECONDS.

The fact that he wasn’t trying to fight back and was in a severely weaken state…. Yet they had tremendous difficulty catching him. It shows that Deku had reached an entirely different level.

If this was a fresh deku who hardened his heart just a bit everyone/mostly everyone would get clapped from a black whip/float combo…. Then focus on heavy hitters etc…

The way I see it Ida, Froppy, (maybe Ochaco if she had a chance to speak) and Todoroki are the only ones with valid points here. If Deku wasn’t as kind as he is, and if the truth of his words weren’t thrown back at him, then they had no weight or proof that his concerns and fears aren’t true, and no real reason to go back since he left to save them. They all need to level up and prove they won’t be hostages. I’m all for leaps of faith, but hope without truth is cruel where as truth without hope is toxic and a form of lie itself. But both together are not only irrefutable but practically destined.

Dang Bakugo had really good character development I see

A sleep deprived, hungry, tired, alone and definitely mentally exhausted worn out Deku, still being able to keep up with the entirety (most of) class 1a who definitely weren’t holding back and had to plan out that entire operation. Yeah Deku has every right to say they couldn’t keep up

"She doesn't need me" he didn't mean it, he felt like if he was away from them and sacrificed himself to stop all for one. He was tired and worried for everyone. Also, his new look was awesome, but not a fan of all of his powers
