I think what he means is all of the past uses for one for all had there own quirks and got to keep them once they got one for all so when they past one for all down to the next person they didn’t just get one for all they also got there original quirk aswell

I definitely like the VA selections, they all sound good for the characters they play. But, the guys who write the script I feel like they phrase things in kinda weird ways when it gets down to impactful moments.

I’ve only seen the sub for the first episode when it first came out. After that i stopped watching but i noticed deku sounds different in sub. I asked why and they said since there’s a time skip they’re older now, so the va made his voice deeper. Maybe the same for dub? Except the va for deku sounds like a little kid still. This is the only dub clip i’ve seen btw. Wanted to see if his voice would be deeper

Y’know, part of me wonders if Hori didn’t just make the downside to being host to multiple quirks beyond the one your born with if you even had one so severe wasn’t just because he got sick of people saying Togata should have been the Ninth User instead of Izuku and so he decided to implement something to finally end the argument. I know I’m sick of everyone saying that Mirio (or insert character here) should have gotten One For All instead of Izuku. Grief, now I half want a OFA Mirio fic where he gets picked up and trained by Nighteye earlier and given One For All and then it all comes crashing down when the backlash of Multiple Quirks kick in

My question is why didn’t one for all manifest quirks from past users every time it’s passed down to the next user like if the fourth user gives one for all to a worthy fifth, wouldn’t the fifth eventually manifest the past 4 special quirks? Well, the explanation basically amounts to that while One For All was copying the quirks held by each previous owner after being given to the Second User, it couldn’t actually cause those powers to manifest in a user until it reached a certain power threshold in its overall stockpiling of raw power. A threshold it only crosses after it gets handed to Midoriya.

Well Deku is the 9th and All Might the 8th, neither had powers prior, 1st was given the stockpile (strength) power aswell as his transfer quirk which fused into one, then there’s 2’s unkown power and all the rest up to Nana, the 7th, so if you count the 1st possessors powers as 2 seperate powers then i believe there should be Blackwhip, danger sense, Fa Jin, Float, Smokescreen, 2s unkown then the stockpile/transfer power
