I know what this is like, maybe not exactly like this was but similar. I have a long slow burning fuse and, to my memory, I have only truly lost my temper twice in my 24 years. I had a few friends living in my house for awhile, and the male friend said my anger was scary. I told him that what he was seeing wasn't even anger, it was just some mild frustration.

Imma be honest if it a school bully I can deal with it for a while if you use the same thing for over half the year. Yet you step it up and I WILL snap and some people on the bus said that I was scary yet I was telling at the older student (the people who said I was scary was younger then me by a grade and these were high schoolers picking on a junior high schooler and a elementary-yet-in-most-schools-also-middle-schooler and I only glared at them once to be quite) I'm also not one to cuss yet cussed twice and think my friend got a little scared but I hope not.

I'm on a short fuse that is ready to ignight any moment because of everything I've been through the last 28 years. Izuku is a character I relate to completely and I really am scared of what will happen if I ever snap like that. My family is scared but they are the main ones pushing me.

Manga spoiler incoming* Okay you still, here? So Endeavor was really strict in Shoto before Touya’s supposed death but he didn’t hit him until after Touya supposedly died. Touya had super strong flames but had no resistance to them, constantly burning himself with his own quirk. Endeavor gave up on him because he didn’t want Touya to hurt or even kill himself. He was ruined emotionally with guilt and grief over Touya’s death and pushed Shoto too hard. Perhaps, because he didn’t want another of his kids to ever suffer like that again. He didn’t even realize what he was doing to his family until it was too late,
