Savers was the big one that old Digimon fans watched subbed first given how long the wait was and how accessible it became. Some started subs back at Frontier, but it was trickier finding episodes back then on KazAa.

If you ever seen the Megaman Battle Network show, his evolutions remind me of Megaman's element forms.

I watched episode 1....We're in for one of the best DIgimon animes ever produced......Reality is correct again. Now if you'll excuse me Im gonna watch this opening 10 more times before I go to bed.

@@rescuerex7031 so far I'm gonna say it's not as *dark* as tamers but it is ready to dive deeper into the psyche of the main char more without being overbearing like the reboot and also gives some proper reasons as to why something happens late or etc. Pretty solid continuity as they haven't missed previous details as the main trio actually learns things and calls each other out for their faults

Song is just a generic japanese soft rock from these days. Many actual animes have this kind of OP music... It doesn't fit the Spirit of this mystery-like Digimon show at all

賛成😺 私が高校生の頃 「デジモンセイバーズ」があった為 5年ぶり拝見させて頂きました😺 中井和哉さん曰く「デジモン」シリーズではアンゴラモンだけじゃなくガオモンからミラージュガオガモンも活躍していたのでガオモンからミラージュガオガモンのセリフだった「YES! マスター!」と言うセリフが忘れられない言葉ですので今でも耳に残っています😺

デジモンのOPは毎回今後進化の姿がわかるのでテンション上がる

The first episode was amazing you somehow managed to make Clockmon actually scary can’t wait to see how the series fleshes out older Digimon and new ones this is going to be amazing can’t wait and we all know that Bakemon and Phantomon will appear in this at some point

毎週凄く楽しみで観てました! デジモン✕怪奇現象はホラーや怖い話好きには面白かったけど、まさか人間キャラの味方が増えなかったのが意外。しかもデジタルワールドの冒険もなく…縦軸要素も意味がほぼなく、シリーズ構成はまともにして欲しかったなあ

まさかやぶのてんやさんがまたデジモンに帰ってきたことがこんなにも嬉しいことはない……

The opening themes of Digimon series never disappoint me

From the current episode I am right now, 39, I am happy with this series and with a lot of changes they made to it so is not your typical Digimon scenario. For example, Kiyoshiro, is a combination Joe and Izzy being both loyal a genius and being afraid all the time but fights anyway, and instead of giving him a Digimon that helps become more brave or to overcome his fears, he gets a female trolling digimon that falls in love with him, that is GOLD. Ruri I think is the most original character, while she is an influencer and helps the team to find digimons thanks to her blog, she is actually more than just the girl, a problem that Digimon had to deal in both Xross Wars and Appmonsters. And also, something I love is her relation with Angoramon, instead of giving her a female digimon that could discuss about fashion and more stuff female characters tend to do, she gets a digimon that is fluffy like a stuffed animal or like a pet, that is very knowledgeable and wants to improve his knowledge and ends each episode with a poem, i believe it has a proper name, though I cant remember what it is. And finally we have the main protagonist, Hiro, I like that he is not headstrong like Tai, Davis or Masaru, and that he is actually way mature than most of the Digimon protagonists, and I loved that his father is the kid that avoids responsabilities. Also, Gamamon, my god I LOVE him, even with his evil evolution, after Guilmon, Gamamon is the cutest protagonist digimon I have ever seen, he is actually a curious child and acts like it!

I wholeheartedly agree because I have major “main protagonist vibes”, so my favorites are understandably Hiro and Gammamon for the same reasonings you mentioned alongside the fact I am personally obsessed with characters that are similar to Hiro that are calm, caring, protective and kindhearted while Gammamon being the curiosity type, not the mention that I really, really love their brotherly bond to point there my personal favorites in the franchise; shame it’s almost over on one hand but I still want to see more Gammamon please!!!! 😭🥹💖💛

No. He HAS wings but he can deploy or retract them as will, the cape is not his wings. He has 2 tiny spikes behind each shoulder and those spike become his wings

Great opening and great first episode. I love the darker atmosphere for the series.

最初の頃はなんとなく難しい曲という印象だったのですが、最終回間近になってすごく気に入って来てしまいました。 デジモンのオープニング曲は02とテイマーズのが特に好きだったのですが、それに通じる熱さに、ホラーらしい摩訶不思議な感じが絶妙に組み合わさった感じというか、歌うのがちょっと難しいのも逆に歌ってて楽しくなるというか。

イントロがもうWienners感満載で好き

This series is looking SO GOOD!!! Ep. 1 was awesome and I'm loving the darker-theme. I'm getting Cyber Sleuth vibes, so 10/10 for me!

My neighbours love this song so much that they threw a brick through my window just to hear it better.

This Digimon is pretty lit. Great concept and combined with our favorite Digimon which makes it perfect.

Gammamon is Guilmon, Angoramon is Renamon, and Jellymon is Terriermon.

i hope Gammamon mega "makes sense" unlike Guilmon that goes from Dinosaur to a Paladin. Well, i mean Renamon and Terriermon megas still looked like them, but Dukemon looked nothing like Guilmon...

I *LOVE* Angoramon's evo! wish Jellymon's evo was more...dramatic, I guess? I was also hoping that the entire cast would get multiple evos but it doesn't seem like it.

fits with the whole asthetic, considering Gammamon is primary white, which is all the colors combined, and is named after Gamma Correction, which the main three values you can modify through it are Red, Green and Blue, and of course, GulusGammamon, his Dark form, is black, which is the absence of color. and Gammamon's Ultimate/Perfect form, CanoWeissmon being white again is basically like if During Digivolution, Gammamon went through a prism which split its colors in Champion, and then through another to reunite them in Ultimate

@@nuruddinshah684 My opinion (minor spoiler warning!!): I though ep1 of the reboot was great, set up an incredible modern story, with some interesting character dynamics (especially Yamato’s introduction), but a few episodes later the series got stale. The worst was the lack of character development, which was the best part of the original Adventure. There was nonstop action with none of the nostalgic goofy fillers or character backstory... then there was a sudden string of filler stories that would’ve halted the show’s momentum if it hadn’t already. It completely lacked the heart of past Digimon shows. Unlike Tri and Last Evolution, it wasn’t catering to old Digimon fans. It was just a regular, mediocre kid show... I still enjoyed it because I’m a massive Digimon fan and just looking at the character designs is nostalgic, but I’m extremely disappointed by its squandered potential. Adventure 2020 may have lowered the bar enough for me to get hooked by Digimon Ghost Game though! Different setting, fresh new concept, new characters so they’re forced to give us character development... I’m ready!!! 👻

If i'm not mistaken some of the people that worked in that anime are working in Digimon Ghost Game right now , so it makes sense it has that influence

no you're not the only one, the series seems to be mixing elements of Digimon Tamers and yokai Watch Shadowside, we,re probably in for one heck of a show
