Another awesome song Pastor Deitrick! Truly makes me remember what "could have been" in my life had it not been for the carrying of the cross for me too!I've seen the comments that Deitrick focused more on himself rather than God in the video. But the question is, while we are watching, are WE focusing more on Deitrick and the video than the message of the song? I love Deitrick, and my expectation is always to hear about Jesus in his music. The expectation should be Jesus Christ, the video is simply a visual of what Dietrick was saying. I mean he is saying "He carried the cross for me." He's singing about what God did for him. My comment is not to judge or be negative. At one time or another, we have all had to adjust our perspective or "vision" of something. This may be a time for that for some. I pray all are blessed by His grace and love!

To carry the cross you have to deny yourself for christ, there's one song of deitrick that hit deep in my heart when I was going through alot but I'm talking about back in 1998, these day's gospel singer's have lost direction in God have grabbed on to fame, gospel singer's are mixing up with the, God tells us to go out and spread the word of God but he didn't say to sleep with them metaphorically speaking, when snoop dogg decided to make a so called Christian album fred Hammond jumped and these other gospel singer's, 1st of all you can't mix the world with the word of God it doesn't work like that. And fred Hammond also is wearing earrings, and I've been seeing that in Baptist churches on youtube we can't serve 2 God's it has to be one or the other.

God bless you sir my first experience with your worship was through the movie Blessed & Cursed in I believe 2011. You really impacted and shifted my outlook on worship and I will never forget it.
