    That single play would’ve changed the course of history for the Seahawks and would’ve had them in the dynasty talk and possibly could’ve ushered Brady out of NE sooner. Nobody was stopping that Seahawks team… they literally beat themselves with that one stupid pass.

    He's really underrated. Since he plays I'm seattle he doesn't get many touches since they are a run first team so he doesn't get many opportunities to shine. He's reliable, and comes up big when it counts. Look at Golden Tate, he wasn't considered a big time receiver in Seattle but in his first year in Detroit he had over 1300 yards whereas his last year in Seattle he had 900. Baldwin can honestly do the same if he was in his situation. It's a shame he doesn't get much recognition from the league. I'm a hawks fan and I own his jersey, I love his game.

    They tried but it didn't help. He just doesn't warrant double team coverage usually. However that doesn't mean he's not a really good receiver. But on most teams with a true #1 wr he's a two or three. On the Seahawks he's a #1 because of his catch percentage and because they spread the ball around and don't throw it 30-45 a game. Usually only 20-30.

    I just read the article in Seattle Times about you man. I didn't realize you're from Pensacola, I was born there. I relate to the things you say about going back seeing people in the same rutt and never changing their pursuits in life, and its a sad depressive place. As for the people you went to school with in GB, thats the good ole boy mentality at its best and I experienced the same SH__! and I'm white. When I moved to Los Angeles, I chose the west side and it opened up my mind for thinking more positive. Just being surrounded by all the successful people changes ones thinking. You begin to feel as though you can do anything or be anything by watching others excel. Florida, well, I was born and raised there, but California is where people go to dream and achieve their dreams. You're welcome to hook up with me anytime, I own Body Detailer LLC in Los Angeles. Pensacola does something to people, I can't figure it out but I knew I could leave the place and explore life more. I love that beach and will return there for a short stay only, maybe even buy a condo at Beach Club on the top floor no doubt but LA is my home now and I'll never leave.

    I understand both sides. Until that point he didn't warrant a double team. He didn't reach 1000 or 10 TDs until this year. At this point of this video he was alright. Fast Forward to this past season he's a tier 2 receiver. He's better than alright but not elite yet. If he does what he did this year consistently for the next couples years. Then no doubt he a Tier 1 receiver. 14 TDs and 1000+ yards on 78 catches is impressive.

    DISCLAIMER: DEION SANDERS IS MY FAV FOOTBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIMEU know... Doug got ya when u come with... "ain't got time for all that mathematics". A true analyst always looks at averages not the totals, be it any field. In case of Running Backs... it's yards per carry. QB's... yards per completions. Doug's point was further solidified this year.... when Marshawn and Thomas Rawls went down.. and the Seahawks became a passing team. All of a sudden, Doug's numbers took a big leap. That was not by coincidence or luck. The game plan simply changed.

    Doug is the best route runner in the league. Maybe even a top 10-5 receiver in the league.

    Deion was right. Against "grown men," Baldwin had 1 catch and 3 yards. That is minus 12 yards on the day counting his classless and selfish touchdown celebration. Nice work. Five Patriots had more catches than Baldwin. Baldwin had as many catches as Lynch, Develin and Hooman. And he wants to be compared with Calvin Johnson. But I guess Baldwin was "efficient" because his one catch was a touchdown (on a pick play).

    But watch the film closely, Doug Baldwin got open against Darrelle Revis A LOT

    Teren Kowatsch The dumbest argument ever, he got open when the ball wasn't going his way and or when they played zone (meaning revis wasn't the primary cover). In reality it matters the stats you post, 1 catch for 3 yards not the hypothetical yards he coula shoulda woulda gotten, get the fuck out of here. If that's the bases for a good receiver everyone's good...

  • @terenkowatsch7866

    @terenkowatsch7866

    No, dumbass. He got open in man coverage against Revis. I'll give you three routes in multiple occasions that Baldwin got open against Revis in man: 8 yard in, quick slant, shallow post, and stop and go, which was the route he scored on. Wilson just couldn't get the ball to him because he couldn't see or because the New England pass rush got there. And on all of the Seahawks' play, Baldwin is the first or second read.

    Teren Kowatsch you realize the play he scored on was a pick play with the ref? Baldwin is aight and it was proven not only against the patriots but against the Packers as well. The fire he has in him is the best thing he has going for him but Kearse more talented than him.

  • @jmkidd2002
    @jmkidd20028 жыл бұрын

    Him and Kearse are both under rated as receivers. I understand the run game is the bedrock of the offense but when called on to step up their game they answer loud and clear. But that is okay put 8 in the box Deion and Wilson and his receivers will beat you through the air.

    He really is a clutch player, it's unbelievable that it's tooken so long for people to notice how good he really his. And tbh I think he really is up there with elite wr's and he really has proven it over and over again. He just has been overlooked hugely.
