Maybe one day someone will write the tale of how the legendary Mr. Deion Sanders came to Jackson State and turned the tides with his message of hope, dedication and work ethic. Not only did he coach, he improved the school as a whole and promoted local events to help bring revenue to the city. What makes this even more remarkable is he did all this while fighting for his own life. What Coach Prime did in MS will be folklore told for many generations to come. This will always be apart of his story and history. We 🫡 you Sir!

Yesterday's game was arguably one of the best games I've ever seen in my life . Those young men played like their life depended on it . I hope they were more proud of their performance than they were sad that they lost . What an amazing season .

Yes he was very insightful to him. But that dropped pass was because when he curled to receive it from Sheduer, the coverage was there and he was focused on it rather than catching the ball. Nevertheless yes coach Prime's motivational to him about it was very insightful!

I’m pretty sure they were playing under extreme pressure knowing this the last time with him. He’s touched their lives in ways no one may ever know. Farewell coach Prime. Ok Bucky, I’m officially crying. I was in attendance at the game. I saw you recording and wanted to scream hi Bucky!! It was an amazing game. I have mixed feelings. Sad and happy at the same time. Please tell your dad I am available to be his assistant if he needs one. He is so motivational; an amazing leader. Let’s go Buffs!!!! NY is a long ways from Boulder but, I’d be willing to say…I’m Coming. 😂😂😂

To say I’m not hurt by the loss would be a lie… because it hurt and stung like a bee! Prayers go out to #84… he will need some support for a few weeks to get pass not catching the ball, I hope JSU offers him some support on campus cuz as a ppl we can be cruel. Yes but Heyden will learn to gain more confidence further in life. Like coach Prime told him, didn't lose the game; they lost the game. Game was lost when they won the coin toss and deferred the ball to NCC giving them the advantage to score the OT TD and shut JSU down overall.

I walked away feeling ok about the game. Frankly, NCCU was much more physical than us, they made less mistakes, and coach Oliver and his staff put together a rock solid game plan. I think the better team won. I can live with that. I just hope folks back in Jackson can be as logical as I'm choosing to be.

@@lanardfletcher1422 agreed! JSU defense was out of sync and deferred NC Central the ball in OT to capitalize the win! Nice trick play and fake punt play to make it even more mesmerizing on them! It just seemed as if they lost their composure out there and I saw that frustration on Jeremiah Brown, y'all took him out of his element! Prime didn't want to beat NCCU at their own strategy despite many opportunities including the last failed drive!

Coach Prime is the person most of want to be. His humility, love and compassion through tough loss is nothing but the purest showing of love. You have forever changed these young men's lives. Sometimes is easy with a win but how you are when something doesn't go as plan is a showing of your true character. Congrats to all that was accomplished at JSU and continued success to the students, staff and support personnel.

Growing up without a dad, you go through tough moments like this. When you turn around you have a male figure to look to for comfort and guidance. The way he went to those crying boys made me cry because he could’ve changed hoe they think about emotions for the rest of their lives in those movements.

Appreciate everything Deion accomplished here, would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed to see him go but it is what it is. Best of luck in Boulder, hope one day we get to play against you guys. You're forever ingrained in JSU history and JSU is forever ingrained in the story of Deion

I'm so impressed with Coach. I am most impressed by how he deals with losing. He is not only a showman, he is also a sportsman.

This is a sweet and bitter time for Coach and JSU! It's not easy to make these hard decisions to move forward in life, especially when part of you want to stay, but it's time to go!

Thanks for sharing that some of the NCCU players were gracious (unlike their coach). I hate "WE" hate on "US" the most. It was an intense and exciting game. Both teams fought hard. Facts! That is what a month of prep time will do for your program. As smoothly as all those 'trick' plays and fake punt worked, I imagine they went over and over those particular plays to ensure perfection...and unfortunately, it worked. What doesn't kill you, WILL make you stronger. Prime is hurting, as he stated this will bother him for the rest of his life. But like so many of God's lessons, what will he do with it....? Prime will come out on the other side and learn from the entire experience to prepare him even more for his challenges (and eventual success) at CU. The devil is always at work, and it has no rules or boundaries (and sometimes it looks familiar). I happy to see Prime has assembled his team around him at CU; adversity will come, he will need his support staff - and he/they will overcome.

I saw that fake punt coming from a mile away. They had to steal a possession gamble, take a chance to keep pace with Shedeur and JSU offense. JSU didn’t think they would fake on 4th and 4 backed up in their own territory. They should have played punt safe and forced them to punt or go for it. Also in overtime you got to lose the game putting the ball in your best players hand. I didn’t agree with the 2nd screen tight end getting the ball their. For (I.E.) example LSU head coach Brian Kelly put the ball in his number one tight end hands to beat Alabama #86 Mason Taylor. #86 for JSU the starting tight end should have had the same opportunity.

History can't be unwritten. When the Team's piece drops on the 29th and the guys have had a few weeks to process this, that piece is going to remind them just how much they did this season. Moments are just that...moments - and no two are ever the same. The tears of a heartbroken Man is tough for anyone, but as I've stated, History can't be unwritten. Everyday this year has been a historical moment, recorded for the annuals of time. This was a season of magic fellas, embrace the fact in knowing that it was YOU that created it.....forever. 🙏

I'm praying for the Sanders family this new journey is going to be beautiful .. it was a joy making the trip to Jackson this yr a experience I'll never forget... I've already been looking at flights & hotels to come be in attendance at Colorado next yr..I have nothing but love for you Deion& family & I'll definitely be praying for God's wisdom to touch you in this new chapter ❤️🏈

I think Deion made a template for others of his stature to follow. Hopefully they answer the call. These kids have nothing to hang their head about. They shook up the world and made everyone believe. What a hell of a ride. Those kids have earned a fan for life
