Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes beat TCU in a 45-42 thriller at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth on Saturday, giving Sanders a win in his first game coaching at the Football Bowl Subdivision level.
HIGHLIGHTS: • TCU-Colorado highlight...
Colorado (1-0) held TCU (0-1) on a 4th down and 9 with just under one minute left, and then ran out the clock to shock the Horned Frogs, who were coming off their best season in program history.
Sanders' son, Shedeur Sanders, starred at quarterback for Colorado, throwing for 510 yards on 38-of-47 passing and four touchdowns.
"I'm proud of him," Deion Sanders said of his son's performance, "tremendously."

100%. I remember Neon about two years ago on Tom Segura's podcast talking about how he didn't want his son to follow him to Jackson State for largely that reason (people assuming nepotism). He didn't tell him not to go there, but he made sure to have as little influence on his son's decision where to play as possible. Seems like a great dad in addition to being a quality coach.

This man is the real deal. Met him once in Puerto Rico in his playing days working at Car Rental. Unfortunately he had to wait while they were cleaning the vehicles as we were backed up. He hung out, treated everyone nice. I’ve been believing!
Never had a doubt. I've always been a Deion fan...not only for his work ethic and doing everything he said he would do as a pro. You can see that he is not only proud of his two sons, but of all of the young men on that Colorado buffaloes team. I don't know anybody personally who's not rooting for Coach Prime. He is a good human being, and I believe that we could all learn a little something from watching him, and listening to him. America loves you coach prime . American loves the person that you are, the standards that you have, and the conviction and strength to always move forward. God bless and all the best to you coach.
Deion is so positive and sees things in such a dope perspective. Everyone on that team is lucky to have him as a coach/mentor he’s a legendary human

Been watching all things on Deion since his Atlanta days. I was first amazed by his athletic ability but continued to follow him because he is truly a Good Man and role model. Dont mistake his confidence for arrogance. He is truly a humble man and inspirational.
He talks the talk. Because he has always walked the walk. Very proud moment and he deserves to call out receipts.

I had tears in my eyes watching this because I’ve watched this man from the beginning, since he played at FSU he’s never reacted to the naysayers with anger or harsh words ever, he smiled, he danced, he played hard, he proved them all wrong over and over again, its always moved me, I’m grateful to have witness something like this in my lifetime, it has been a blessing.

How can you not love this energy? Just a man completely comfortable with being himself. No stipulations. No restrictions. And all of that rubs off on his players. And that is why they will be so successful. They’re not afraid to show their full capabilities even in the presence of doubt.

When I started watching the behind the scenes footage of how he and his staff built the football team got my attention. Prime's meeting with last years squad and telling them that most of them will not be here next season was unbelievable. Going 1-11? last year...to now after today's game....amazing!

The Buffalo’s mascot Ralphie running onto the field at their home games used to be the most excitement that I would see in a Colorado Buffs game… But no more after today😂congrats to the kids😂!
