Dehydrating Eggs to Powder~Good for 25 years! This is a must have food staple!

Dehydrating eggs to turn into powdered eggs, that will be good in food storage for up to 25 years! Great for the pantry and for the Emergency food supply! This is one food that should be a staple item, if not already!
In this video, I also rehydrate and cook to do a "taste test" and show you can never tell that they were ever powdered!

Great video, thanks for rehydrating and cooking them up. I was wondering how they would do.

Hi.. I believe I cover this in the video, but basically 14-18 hours, depending on thickness of trays. The thinner the coat and more even your trays are, the less time it takes to dehydrate. God Bless ❤

I’ve never heard of using an oxygen absorber and a silica together

I have always used them both in the Mylar bags to ensure the best in order to keep the air and moisture out. I never want to take chances with salmonella or botulism. ❤

Does the temperature of the day affect the result?

No, I do not think it matters. The dehydrator will stay at the same temperature you have it set to, so outside air temp should not affect it. God Bless ❤

You don't use both in the same bag. It tells you that on bags.

They both serve different purposes and to be completely sure that the food stays dry and free of air, you would use both to ensure this. I use both so there is no possible way of the dried foods to cause harm later when used. It works perfectly for me but may not be for everyone's liking.
