Mais la sphère du hip-hop classique s’avère vite exiguë pour traiter les influx d’idées irriguant sans cesse son hémisphère droit. Collectionneur de sons, explorateur du sample idéal, Degiheugi part exhumer des pépites encore brutes, sommeillant dans les abîmes du Web et sous la poussière de vinyles marquant les décennies passées. Il réinvente l’art de fusionner ces particules sonores pour leur offrir une seconde vie au rayonnement atomique.
Imprégnés de featurings 5 étoiles et de beats au groove d’orfèvre, ces patchworks éclatants élargissent le champ magnétique des codes du trip-hop, et révèlent une musique chimiquement pure, gorgée de reflets soul, de spleen électronique et de fulgurances mélodiques.

Le 23 Avril 2021, Degiheugi nous dévoile son 8ème album "Foreglow" aux multiples influences, allant de la samba à l'afrobeat en passant par la soul et la chanson française.
Après avoir réédité l'ensemble des 8 albums qui composent sa discographie en vinyle, le beatmaker Degiheugi présente son nouveau projet « Remixed Treasures ». Il s'agit d'un album de remixes, exercice auquel le producteur s'est attelé pour la première fois de sa carrière.
Au programme : L'Orange, Moderator, Souleance, iZem, The Architect, Senbei, Al Tarba, Mounika, DJ Vadim, La Fine Equipe, Kognitif, ProleteR et Scratch Bandits Crew composent le casting XXL de cet impressionnant cross over à la croisée des genres (hip-hop, électro, ambiant, drum & bass, jazz...) et réunissant pas moins de 13 beatmakers issus de différentes scènes et générations.
