What a great series, except you lost me at Anaheim when you didn’t recognize the 92/93 Pee Wee state champion, District 5 Mighty Ducks logo front and center. You should know that being a hockey/hockey jersey fan! 😝

RE: The NY Raiders. It was the creation of the Raiders(as one of the original WHA teams) that led to the creation of the Isles...basically to block the WHA's position in NY.

You need to learn about WHA teams and do a video on them.

This video made me feel REALLY old because I recall all of those old WHA teams and knew the logos as soon as I saw them.

In 1893 when the first Stanley Cup was giving by Lord Stanley there were 5 teams Ottawa Hockey Club , Montreal Hockey Club affiliated with the Montréal Amateur Athletic Association (MAAA) aka Winged Wheel, Montreal Chrystal, Québec Hockey Club , Montreal Victoria. Each team play 8 games. Two against each other. 1on the road 1 at home. the winner was Montréal Hockey Club.

The combined jet/thrashers t logo was made by myself. Thanks for the feature. I love hockey jersey history and might have to do another round of these for some lesser known teams.

The Montreal, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Vegas, Winnipeg were all really nice imo!

The Edmonton Ice only played for 2 years in the WHL(96-98). They moved to Cranbrook, BC and became the Kootenay Ice, and stayed there until 2019. The WHL team that’s been in existence the longest in Edmonton is the Edmonton Oil Kings.

In a group I am in on facebook I saw the Buffol sweater for the first time just before this. someone explained that the team was owned by a pepsi compabny person which explains a lot.

I have been thinking Lightning should use yellow. It would help make them different from Toronto. Plus ⚡️

There was a missed opportunity for the Wings, doing one for the Detroit Vipers would’ve been the best option!!

I once saw a logo someone made for the Wings that uses the style of the Vipers logo but with the Octopus, that would be cool if you did an IHL concept!

Someone else may have gotten to it before me, but on the lighting jersey that is the blue angels. They are stationed in Pensacola and they do training all the time on base. I remember seeing them flying around when I was there for my Mos school a few years ago.

Missed a couple of opportunities. Carolina hurricanes mixed with the Raleigh ice caps. Then the islanders and Long Island ducks! Very cool concept love these Friday videos!!!!

Michagan Stags were before the Los angeles sharks and played part of 74-75 season, They had Mark tardif and traded him to the Nordiques and finished season as Baltimore Blades.

The Hamilton Tigers were originally called the Quebec Bulldogs. And you are correct, the Tigers players were sold to the New York Americans

He should have used the Long Island Ducks of the EHL for the Islanders concept jersey. The Ducks beat the Nashville Dixi Flyers in the 64 championship for the EHL. After they were defunct LI was devastated to lose its beloved hockey team. The fact that there was a proven market is why the Islanders were granted an NHL franchise here.

The Toronto Toros moved to Birmingham became the Bulls but kept the Logo

The Ottawa Nationals were one of the original WHA teams that moved to Toronto that became the Toros. Ottawa did have their own jerseys..look it up! @@gsinemedia

Current AHL team is Tuscon Roadrunners

The Michigan Stags played only one season in the WHA in 1974-75. The team folded after that. The league took over & moved them to Baltimore.

I can't believe they did Ottawa dirty! The Ottawa Nationals from the WHA, could have been used for the jersey concept!

I would definitely do that next time. I just wanted to make sure I did defunct NHL teams before anything else and Hamilton felt less dirty to link with Ottawa than Toronto

Using Montreal Maroons livery or colours for a Habs jersey belies that the teams were arch rivals when they co-existed. That's a non-starter idea, in my opinion. History does matter, and you wouldn't wear the colours of your main rival, would you? (Same for using a NY Americans look for Rangers: the teams both played in the league simultaneously from 1926 to 1942 - they were obviously rivals of one another.)

Oh man, he missed an opportunity with detroit.. Detroit had an IHL team called the Detroit Vipers. Neil check out that gem of a jersey lol. They played up at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

If this is supposed to be a mashup between the current team and a definit team from the city/region, I think this is quite a lazy concept pack. Several concepts here are pretty much the same as the original and just a current logo shoulders patch. This is unfortunately a no for me.
