@@PNWcarwashchannel not the least bit surprised. Theres so many car wash bays in Mobile Alabama that are all sealed up, and I can guarantee you they have voyagers or R7B's hidden inside of them

@@CarwashMan18 ooh wow sad to hear they are just locked away and forgotten, my local voyager is likely getting the axe as it’s been closed for almost 4 months now with the power completely cut off! @@PNWcarwashchannel yeah I have seen that voyager on your channel and I have to admit its becoming finneky and unreliable. A shame because they really are great systems and couldnt kill them for nothing except by age. I really wish Ryko would remake the system with updated sensors and cleaning agents and call it the Ryko Classic as a cost effective car wash system for small car wash locations

Nice video, I wonder if it's the last generation before soft gloss units. By now it will probably be dismantled

This is probably the last system before the soft gloss lineup was started. It kind of has the same body of an XS. Could be an early preview of the body of the XS 1

The voyager II was Introduced in 1993 and later replaced by the original Softgloss sometime in the late 1990s. They still made this during the same time as the soft gloss XS 2. It was kept around until 2008 as a low-cost alternative for the petroleum market. I have a video of one of the last ones built with a triple foam option and the late 2000’s logo.

The filament is lightweight, so it is very soft under rotation. The disadvantage of the material is plastic rub-off and the risk of swirling softer clear coats. It was for older finishes, and as automakers used softer clear coats to comply with environmental standards, the industry had to change.

It could be anything. Most of the time it’s electrical issues that take these things down.
