Keep in mind Ladies and Gentlemen, lower tuning doesn’t automatically make you “heavy” you gotta put some swagger behind it as well. Which is why Lotion is the HEAVIEST Deftones riff ever constructed

Theres a section of MX right after Chino's warbly voclas that is just like super heavy sounding bc it comes out of a lil bit of that silence...like around 3:10 mark ish. Always gets my head rockin and mean riff face going

Thank you. So for my vids I do use a lot of gear, the main components on the audio side would be a good DAW, audio interface, digital guitar processor, a good computer, and AI music splitter for isolating vocals/guitar from a pre recorded track. As far as the visuals go I just use GoPros, hero 10 I think. Some basic ring lights for somewhat decent lighting, and Final Cut Pro for editing. Hope this helps, if you want me to go into deeper detail feel free to send me an email or DM on instagram. I just started making vids so I still have tons to learn on the production side. It’s a frustrating endeavor/hobby sometimes but in the end, it’s totally worth it.

I almost put it on here but idk it’s just a vanilla ass riff and as far as note choice rickets / lotion are the heaviest riffs from ATF in my opinion. It was either between head up or rickets, and rickets is heavier. The drums, the vocals, the bass, it’s all heavier. Head up is literally just 3202020202 repeated over and over and over again.

Battle axe is vanilla , goon squad is alright as far as composition compared to poltergeist and risk, needles and pins I already covered the bass and guitar in a separate vid, beware ending is good but like meh, around the fur is one of my favs but it’s no where near as heavy as rickets and lotion

maybe im just not a fan of deftones but these dont seem any heavier than metallicas heaviest stuff to be fair, i’m a slam/beatdown fan so that tells you what you need to know.
