I think it is the fact of seeing an animal so pure and innocent that causes empathy in you and it is the same feeling that Deftones music causes in people, the Owl is the representation of all that.

this maybe my favorite chorus in their entire catalog. Their most underrated song, in my opinion

This song is about chi cheng, their former bassist who got into an accident and was in a coma, he was in the coma for 4 years then passed away. Chi cheng will always be remembered in deftones history.

It's majestic ✨

This glorious album was released around the time I was in rehab the first time in a rough part of Baltimore City, Maryland that I felt all alone in. It was my first of several different stints in rehab and I couldn't shake the powerful and sinister urge of using but at any rate this album helped me deal with my constant feeling of shame, sadness and even helped when I felt good and was intoxicated. This album is very moody and atmospheric which is a wonderful thing to have on an album. I still enjoy the hell out of Diamond Eyes and consider it one of their top 3 best albums and one of my favorite hard rock/metal albums for sure. Music is a powerful tool and has helped me along this strange and crazy journey we call life. Much love to all my fellow Deftones fans 👍🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️💛🖤🎸😎💥🔥🔥🔥🚬😇🤙

Deftones stands as the only band in my library that I have consistently listened to since I first heard White Pony back in the early 2000s. I fucking love this band.
