Awesome, fogged windshield in nights has been a major problem for me, when i forgot about defog, defrost liquid etc. Nice vid.

This is the feature that I am most unsatisfied with in my new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Blue 2023. I live in California where we get heavy traffic and the air becomes toxic; in every one of my previous cars (Oldsmobile, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan), I could use the defroster with the ‘circulate outdoor air vent’ closed! I do not want to pull toxic smog into my car while driving. Another example, we’ve had huge nearby fires (like now in the present tense) that have been casting toxic smoke (our aqi is in the orange) over where I live; once again, I don’t want that in my car! I’ve never had trouble defrosting my windows with indoor cabin air circulating to keep the ‘not fresh at all air‘ out! This is the single biggest reason that I may not go with a Hyundai the next time I get a new car(unless they fix this); my health comes first! Why are we being forced to pull in outside air to defrost windows; that was a terrible idea! Especially if you live in areas where the air quality can go terrible bad; it the humidity is already high outside. There should be the previous option to cycle the cabin air when you’re driving through smoke and smog/poor air quality. Many of us are smart enough now to know when the air is toxic and take measures to protect our health. Please fix this!

Wtf were they thinking... Up here in Canada where it routinely goes below 0°F in winter, you definitely do NOT want fresh air on the windows, it takes twice as long to warm up...
