Red Hinkle I’m a Tottenham fan and this never surprised me. He has always come across as a sound human being, as well as being deadly in front of goal. Whilst playing for us he stopped in his car once and spoke to some young lads playing football in a park near the ground. And one of those young lads was Harry Kane.

Jermaine Defoe seriously touched my heart!! what an incredible man!! and Bradley... u inspire me young man!!

jermaine has changed what could have bin suffering for this boy but turned in to a beautiful friendship and to help this boy on a hard and short journey

This guy is a legend, to show so much love and respect for little Bradley.

You are a true legend Jermain.

So sad that little Bradley passed away so young, he was so brave. He genuinely loved Jermain so much, and those feelings were reciprocated which was so clear to see. I think it is so wonderful that the pair had such a good bond, and I am sure Jermain will be regarded as part of the Lowery family forever for making that boys dreams come true. My heart goes out to his family who I am sure love Jermain for putting a smile on their son's face through those hard times x x

I'm not into football at all, but Bradley's story has touched so many people......and Jermain what a great guy to give the amount of time, love, and attention to him, and for it to become such a strong bond.

Amanda Stroud nobody hates him he had a bond with his icon which turned to real friendship colour didn't come in to it Defoe could have been any colour it wouldn't have mattered to Bradley he loved Defoe and vice versa Defoe would visit him every day he became a family friend only you raised the question of colour Defoe is a true role model Bradley couldn't have had a better one
