Those things you were looking at at 2:50 are Slicercrabs. You seem to have activated them unknowingly. When a monster is knocked out or has fallen over near them, it shoots the monster with crystals.

@@DapimpBDSD Hell yeah! You go into the counter state and push your R2 to do an elemental attack. If it's timed during a monster attack or roar, you do a counter move that's high damage and immediately puts you into Amp State.

3:26 You can use the counter to detonate your Barrel Bombs. Since the bombs will explode after you hit it, it will also trigger the whole counter.

It's more predictable and easy to manage solo. You get hit from weird angles and dodge into his attacks if he targets someone close to you.

After deciding to torture myself and defeat malzeno with every weapon I've learned I suck with Charge Blade immensely, great sword is still the most satisfying weapon, and Malzeno is cool as all hell no matter the circumstances.

Congrats man. Had my own training montage against this guy using Charge Blade and having to learn all of his bullshit. He was definitely a tough nut to crack, but unlike Magnamalo I didn't have to learn a weapon on top of a very hard fight and I finally brought him down a day or two ago... which means the actual in-game fight will be a breeze in comparison.

There is a list somewhere detailing the skills used in the demo for every set. Swaxe has attack boost 4, rapid morph 3, wirebug whisperer 3, razor sharp 3, power prolonger 2 and a few others...

I completely understand your pain fighting Malzeno. He truly delivers proper ass whoppins'.

No, it's only in sunbreak where you bring two customizable move sets into a hunt. It gets confusing without the UI because you switch between these sets quite often.

Its funny how you use trickster and sword master when Malzeno also does them, that teleport is the trickster, the blade like floor projectiles are the mive Drive so swordmaster, gunslinger for projectiles and no royal guard unless yoh wanna count the malzeno mode as the royal guard mode from dmc4 but mostly is just like the pizza man.

Morbin Axe best weapon in the game

Morbzeno is that one rogue in the tavern's corner who doesn't speak but it actually got the power to clap cheeks.

I feel like demo Malzeno is like a boss in a From Software game, y'know, if said From Software game was fun...
