    I always seek a bond with other people in order to talk to them & I have to feel very comfortable to keep talking with them; I have only noticed it with a handful of people; most notably they were are all introverts, and I always give them a mutual turn to talk by asking questions and I like listening to them & giving an appropriate retort. By the end, I always realize, neither of us stole the conversation, and it was completely mutual.

    Charismatic introverts include Marlon Brando and Steve Jobs...they had some of the most powerful charisma of all.

    I think you're getting at stillness rather that social dynamics: and I quite agree that is the deeper spiritual trait.

    The most charasmatic people will listen to a story intently that everyone is talking about and not add onto the end of what they've heard; a part of their experiences. They know how to make people laugh and more importantly, don't mind being the butt of the joke if that means that they can make others feel comfortable. find someone who is part comic, part leader, part adventurer and add some mystery to it. Discuss.

    It's possible to be an introvert and not be shy and not have social anxiety. Introverts think before doing public actions (possibly too much). In a conversation, we take our time and there is a lot of pause & hesitation b/c we are thinking about what to say next. I have had very good conversations with other introverts & they have always gone well. There is no competition for who gets the most words out, we both mutually contribute to the conversation, & we both listen to each other actively.

    I define myself as an introvert and have been, at times, very charismatic in my life. I think the more important thing is if someone has social anxiety, which often gets people labeled as introverts even though they may just be socially awkward extroverts.

    charisma is just a lot of power of their spirit, that is obvious / people can feel before they even say a word.

    what is the difference between charisma and persuasion. and another question. in the bigger scope of things, dont you think all these social mind games get in the way of our abillity to cooperate together. after all trust is essensial, for a healthy society. its a terribly loaded question, but i didnt know how else to put it.

    That news guy is defining extroverts and introverts. An extrovert's thoughts are out loud and an introvert's thoughts are in his mind. The real question is: "is it possible to be a charismatic introvert?"

    (continued) Extroverts that I have met make me feel tuckered out, fatigued, & bloated with so many words, so many words! They talk like words are diarrhea & they don't listen to me or let me have a word in the conversation; they run it all, just like Marcus said how important "Active Listening" is; that advice was for the extroverts to take a lesson b/c that's what introverts always do naturally. (continued)

  • @TheIntrinsicFactor
    @TheIntrinsicFactor11 жыл бұрын

    (continued) Extroverts seem to be blissfully unaware of how they run the entire conversation w/o letting others contribute. Extroverts need to stop talking & think more and introverts need to stop thinking so much & talk more; then again personality does not change as adults, at least not easily, maybe with prescription drugs, but that's going to far. Marcus seems to have the perfect balance, b/c he has said he still gets nervous, but the power of charisma balances it out. (continued)
