    Pretty cool man! Crazy how your opponent looks like he’s moving so slow in the background towards the end of the video. Judging from the length of time your plane was at such a high angle of attack and how you’re leading edge flaps are staying deployed, it looks like you guys bled off a crap load of airspeed from all the maneuvering.

    I was a maintainer for VF-2 before they became VFA-2 I didn’t like the hornet platform so I decided to go to a Helo squadron and then I heard they went to Lemoore. Aint nothing like a Bounty Hunter.

    The shoulder harness really should be redesigned so that its not slipping off the shoulder during high G maneuver. Granted the harness contracts into the shoulders during an ejection. But heck fix that issue. As well as the oxygen mask constantly being adjusted for comfort. Fix those issues engineers!

    No, they’re inertia reels just like your car. There’s a handle to lock them, but most people keep them unlocked for the majority of the flight.

    Lacking Rabbit It’s training, so we were shooting simulated weapons to simulate shooting down the other jet.

    seems like he is distracted because of his belt slipping and readjustments of his oxygen mask most probably because of G forces this is simulated exercise but is it not a big issue in real combat ? pilot must not be distracted because of these adjustments

    It's bfm or in layman terms dogfighting. He's looking around to keep visual on his "adversary". No visual means they are in your 6 o'clock.
