I don’t like a lot of plastic because when it heats up, it’s gonna stick so I prefer to have my clips and drum made out of metal.

I have the wind up type 12 gauge drum from MAC. Locks into my bullpup no problem. I just need to test it out.

I bought the Panzer 12 drum last week. I finally got to test it out today and figured I would go slow to see what it fed. Using my RIA VR-80 shotgun I filled it up with Winchester white box 7.5 shot at 1200 FPS. It would fire then fail to eject. I figured it was under powered so I change up to some Federal steel #6 shot at 1400 FPS. The drum would fire then fail to feed. I made numerous attempts to get it to cycle. While inspecting the drum and why it was hanging up I noticed two cracks in the aluminum spoke on the front of the drum where the blue dot is!! This was causing the rotating shell holder to hang up. It took me 15 minutes to clear the remaining shells out. A total of less than 15 shells were fired. A couple in succession and most charging by hand. I took to it back to the shop where I bought it but was referred to the manufacturer for warranty. Now I have a broken drum and have to wait for reply from Panzer Arms. I will update with any response I get. I’m glad I did not start out with buckshot or slugs!! This was birdshot. Buyer beware.

Update: I took two weeks for a response via email. I can not find a phone number to call the. The guy who responded, Nick, said I was using underpowered loads and that’s why my shotgun would not feed. I responded by telling him IT WAS THE DRUM AND IT BROKE USING UNDERPOWERED LOADS. It was not the shot gun, it was the broken drum. I sent a picture of the outside of the box showing the lifetime warranty and again on the back where it says not matter what they would take of you! We will see.

Thanks for the update. Sorry your having to go through all of this to get it taken care of. I'm going to use mine again this week and see if I get any issues out of it.

Yea those new mags fit the generation 2 BP-12’s but you can modify them to fit the Gen 1 also but it will require some grinding.

Yeah that's what I figured. I did some grinding on one of my polymer drums but I didn't want to do it on this aluminum one

I have a Promag Saiga drum and that one works like a champ. They are hit or miss. The only Promag Saiga 10 round mag I have needed some Dremel work to get it to run smooth.

@@mancaveveteran4975 yeah I've heard the drum works but I don't want to spend the money to find out.
