    Unfortunately, a sadist like Chauvin (with a TWENTY year history of police brutality complaints on his record) epitomizes the behaviors and mindset of EVERY law enforcement officer to peoples of certain socio-economic groups and color. He/She IS "the enemy," and as such, they see every cop, deputy, ect. as a bad seed. Sociopaths like Chauvin, (who should have been weeded out years ago) contribute via their behaviors to the recent and horrifically startling uptick in the unprovoked murders of law enforcement now occurring in every part of this country. Obviously I'm oversimplifying an extremely complex matter, but when two rookie officers are executed sitting in their squad car and simply eating lunch, "perception vrs. reality" has ceased to exist.

There are a number of indicators of mild, moderate and severed respiratory distress. Upper airway obstruction presents with some specific signs also. Based on the videos I have seen, I see no sign of moderate or severe respiratory distress. Since this testimony took place 10+ months after the so called "murder", I'm going to go ahead and answer the question from that perspective - I would try to make the best possible impression I can and really try my best to not come across as hostile, looking like a teenager who's mopey for having been grounded by my mom.

  • @marcuslewitzki4610

    @marcuslewitzki4610

    @Beni Flores Being emotional and sad, perhaps being moved to tears when trying to recall one's memory of the incident, sure, but that's not what I'm talking about. She display an immature level of hostility, shaking her head, rolling her eyes etc. That's a completely different reaction/behavior from what you yourself said. Floyd suffered from hypertensive heart disease, had a 4X lethal dose of fentanyl in his system as well as methamphetamine. The corbon monoxide may have been a contributing factor, but not the cause and no one is saying that. The fact that he had this type of heart disease and still thought it would be a good idea to put that amount of fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system AND fight with cops who only try to do their job - just shows an incredible lack of judgement and self preservation from Floyd. This was not a smart man and he obviously didn't care too much of his own well-being. His death is a tragic accident, one that Floyd himself bears most of the responsibility for. Chauvin's actions probably contributed because of Floyd's health issues but Chauvin couldn't have known about these health issues, but Floyd did. And since Floyd (knowing very well about his own health and intoxication) felt it was a good idea to fight with cops how can you sit there and expect Chauvin to adjust his techniques according to Floyd's issues, not knowing about them? Floyd himself didn't adjust anything, he took as much fentanyl and methamphetamine as he liked, not caring about the consequences to his own body. But somehow Chauvin should have.... This is absurd! Floyd was a criminal and drug addict who only cared about his next fix and when his extraordinarily bad decisions come back to bite him in the ass it's everyone else's fault. No personal responsibility at all. We are living in a world where adults behave and view reality like irresponsible teenagers. People are mad about tragic incident like this and go out and burn down entire city blocks and attack random police officers all across the country to get revenge for a situation they don't know the full story about. The death of George Floyd is much more complex than "police brutality" or "institutional racism", which seem to be the top buzzwords nowadays whenever a black criminal is killed by the police, especially if the police officer is white. People just jump to conclusions as fast as possible and politicize the incident and within 5 minutes they are out for blood. Why not just skip the trial and the testimonies by all these experts and witnesses and we can have a good old lynching, and have officer Chauvin up in a tree a.s.a.p, would that satisfy your sense of justice?

  • @marcuslewitzki4610

    @marcuslewitzki4610

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Beni Flores Whether or not to convict Chauvin on the manslaughter charge is really what this debate has been all about since the beginning. There are definitely arguments to be made from both perspectives on that charge. But anyone who thinks it is justice to convict Chauvin on second and third degree murder is simply as ignorant as they come. That just shows how little someone understands of what those charges actually mean. They should never have been considered in this case. The fact that the jury convicted Chauvin on all three charges proves this wasn't justice and that the mob bullied the jury into this verdict. If you understand what deontological ethics are and understand their importance in the rule of law then you also understand how this trial wasn't justice. Sadly, you probably don't know what deontology is and you probably don't understand the difference of these three charges so instead of thinking for yourself you allow BLM do it for you, in which case there's really no point in debating this with you. So do your thing, use Google and try to wrap your brain around these concepts and then try to make an argument back at me. I for one won't hold my breath that you will get any wiser.

  • @marcuslewitzki4610

    @marcuslewitzki4610

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Beni Flores Like I thought, you didn't manage to understand deontological ethics. Deontological ethics is important in a court of law because the procedures and the subsequent verdict needs to be based on a set of rules rather than its potential consequences. In regard to this trial that went out the window precisely because everyone was concerned for what the consequences would be if Chauvin was found not guilty, or even just guilty of manslaughter. The key concept here is 'beyond reasonable doubt' which any reasonable person could see could only be argued in regard to the manslaughter charge, but definitely not the murder charges. You, like many others in today's woke, outrage culture don't care about the rule of law, you base your views on your emotions. In this case, specifically the emotions you felt when you first watched those phone videos after Floyd's death, long before the actual body cams were released and even longer before the prosecution and defense made their opening statements in the trial, and when all the evidence from both sides were finally presented. That's why America burned for months. How many people lost their businesses and their lives because of this lack of rationality, this complete disregard for the rule of law and a complete ignorance of the importance of deontological ethics.

  • @marcuslewitzki4610

    @marcuslewitzki4610

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Beni Flores No one with an open mind and enough empathy to see things from all perspectives and who followed this trial can seriously say the prosecution "nailed it". There is more than enough in this case to cause reasonable doubt and all three charges demand proof beyond reasonable doubt in order to convict Chauvin, even if that hurts some peoples feelings. The fact that the jury's deliberation only took a day says it all about their motivations and the fact that you don't see this also speaks volumes. This certainly wasn't real justice, it was mob justice and that has no place in a civilized society. If we let go of the rule of law and its founding principles because of emotions we will soon find ourselves descending into chaos and anarchy. We got a real taste of this last year as cities burned. Making a martyr out of George Floyd for ideological reasons surely isn't worth that.

Every big trial produces some “celebrity” attorneys, we got to whiteness one in the making today. If I was to dissect the prosecutions game plan, I believe they would have been much better off just letting Schleicher be the main forefront attorney, and let the others work behind the scenes. Just looking at it from a Monday morning QB stance, but some jurors might see that and feel for Chauvin in some sort of weird way.
