Just outside of Death Valley, California, there's a trail that takes you out of the Panamint Valley, up the Argus Range and ultimately to an old tungsten mine known as the Defense Mine. While the trail is for the most part short and easy, there are a few challenging sections along the way that can be a lot of fun if you choose to take them. The biggest obstacle on the trail is known as Waterfall Zero or Zero Fall and, as the name suggests, it's essentially a big dry waterfall made of marble, polished smooth and shaped like a chute. If you're not careful, it's definitely one that can do some real damage. Just past it, there's an optional route to the top known as the Cummings Cutoff and, if you choose to take it, you'll find yourself on a nice length of trail strewn with loose chop and big rocks. In this short video, you'll get to see highlights from a recent run we did up this trail with a total of 8 Jeep JK Wranglers, 6 of which were 4-door Unlimited Rubicon models and 1 of which was a 2-door Sport. We hope you enjoy it.

We found this video after making the trip ourselves. I managed to get my stock '85 Toyota pickup on 30's up there by taking the main road, but I almost got caught up on the last section a few times. It's a really great trip that the video does a great justice to! Also hats off to you guys, Zero Fall is slick! Even when I trick my truck out, I don't think it's ever going up that. Thanks for all the videos, I may not be a Jeeper, but it's still a wayallife.

I really do envy you guys over there. Such unreal trails and the places you get to go and see are amazing, all that history. National Parks & Wildlife Services over here in Australia just believe that the only way to maintain a park is to close it off 100% to the public. Once again, great video!!!

Guys your videos are excellent, can’t stop watching feel like a housewife watching Soap Operas hahahaha. I did some off-road with my 87 Jeep for several years when I was single but nothing to this caliber. Now that I’m retiring in 2 years definitely want to get back into it. It’s like a drug that never left my system. Hopefully we can hook up even a one time deal it would mean the world to me.

We like the fact that our free, factory fenders bend and tear off as it has proven to prevent body damage. We have seen plenty of Jeeps running tube fenders and even flexible plastic fenders like Xenon's that have done body damage when hit hard. If you want to spend money on something you don't need and risk body damage, it's your Jeep and your choice.

The run in the beginning of the video is called the "Cummins Cutoff" and the nice bowl you guys went up is known as "Waterfall Zero". I became intimately familiar with this run during the 2011 Panamint Valley Days. I broke both driveshafts and my front passenger side axle shaft about 100 yards from the end where you get back onto the easy way up to the Mine on the dirt road. Now that my CJ7 is back on all 4's again maybe next time your around Ridgecrest I'll try to tag along.
