Stacks are out of the question till rare can address these issues. Its gotten that bad now for PC servers. This has happened 5/6 times trying to stack in the past month. More so from just general gameplay. This would of been way worse to deal with if these guys weren't terrible..

Dude there no way I just fought them to! They seemed to have dumb downed their cheats, when I fought them their cannon balls would track you and one ball you if you were anywhere above deck and when they would miss chain shots it would curve back around and still hit mast it was so weird but they absolutely suck so I sunk them it was great.

I came across a hacker doing a fotd stack who had every single hack in the game teleportation, spawn hacks but he was terrible and we managed to sell all 4 fotd

theyd could probably add some sort of counter mesure, like if they detected a players coordinate rapidly changed outside of a black screen, it would boot them out of the server, if done right, it could severly handicap hackers that just fast travel accross the seas

Counterpoint to the whole "just report them" argument: It is easy to make a new account after getting banned. I won't give steps for the sake of not accidentally helping cheaters, but a simple Google search is enough to figure out how to do it. TheB does this every time he gets banned for spawn-camping on people's ships (which is rendered a non-issue by the Scuttle and Change Seas feature anyway). Cheaters do this to circumvent being banned without paying for the game more than once. Combine that with the Xbox Game Pass... Yeah, it's bad. Reporting literally does nothing in this case.

I'm with ya Mixel on how you feel with SoT. Been playing since Day 1 and as of right now I haven't gotten on to play SoT for a couple of months after this hot garbage. I might hop on open crews for fun to help new people out but in reality SoT has ended up on the bottom of my list for games to play. Only way that can change is long lasting content that I can work on and of course fixing the cheater issues. Still love the content you push out though!

every day I run in at least 2 different crews of cheaters, at this point it's almost as common to see cheaters than friendly pirates. There is this cheater called "admin" who added me and my friend on their list of people to target. They sent that list to there other hacker friends because these cheaters can join your server at any time and they can also invite their hacker friends to it. Thats why streamers meet more hackers than the average crew. So this cheater called Admin joined my servers 3 days in a row ruining my hourglass battles and pve loot. Its getting absurd. Rare needs to start taking care of this more seriously instead of removing stuff like grabbing the harpoon from the water. Like it was something terrible and so unfair to other players instead of removing cheaters literally ruining everyone experience. Common rare....

I've been 900 in Servants for 2 months because of cheaters in hourglass. They don't just keg, I have SO many videos of fights thought were just "TOUGH" but when they're done hitting everyshot u can LITERALLY catch them instant climb ladder. Just like that over and over, how do you know if anyone is Clean?

The fact people can literally buy the best hacks possible but still be garbage is astonishing. So glad rare is gonna fix cheating soon.

Me and my friends stacked fort of the dammed and we encountert 2 cheaters one with skelly curse and one with normal gold curse it was pretty funny cause in both crews only the cheater could kill us and the oder part of the crew really werent good

yup had cheaters mess up a 6 stack for us last night. we just left becuz there wasnt a point. my rule now is if we stuck we sell every 2-3 rounds to limit the loses if a cheater comes and messes it all up

Agreed, 2 stack max for FOTD's is a rule the my crew has had for a while now. I'll also just get grade 5 for whatever emissary I'm doing then go and sell. It's unfortunate times for chill/your average players at the moment.

Allows me to properly stack an amount without having hopper crews all over us the entire time.

I have had maybe 1 or two days in the past 8 months where I didn't run into a cheater.. and I open crew. I thought it was more common only in HG but now it's in adventure too because it's so wide spread. No wonder they did instanced TT for their Monkey island bs.

It's crazy, almost all of the cheaters that I've encountered are kids. Those cheats are like $600 and they steal their mom's credit card. Sad to think about what pices of shit those kids are.

I honestly do not understand people who cheat. Do they get pleasure after killing someone even though the odds are in they're favour cause they can teleport and place kegs on your ship. Rare need to make drastic changes to SoT because if the game keeps going in this direction the next thing we will have in people Ddosing servers. Say PC master race all you want. Console servers are nearly free of cheaters because the servers are supported and protected by Microsoft. There's a give and take in the console vs PC war. And NGL imma give the hackers and lag to PC. Gold medal worst server in any any game goes to PC

Hey mixelplx i had a very sweaty fight, i fought some grade 5 reaper for an entire hour and got to 25 after him boarding and boarding and trying to sail me out of bounds but then the storm came in, i knocked down his sails and sank him i was in relief cause i hated that fight, props to him he was hard to fight but i won in the end. I got GOF 25 for sinking him then sold his grade 5 emissary for money, put down the hour glass got 44k (66k) emissary bonus and after the hour glass dropped it gave me 26 i am 1/4 away from ghost curse.
