Me too. Having beaten the Kracken I'm trying to get all the challenges. Last two areas are very difficult though. Would like to see RCE take these on and see how he goes.

Matt is actually the first person I've seen beet this level and he figured out meleeing the fish actually benefits him. Love it

If you hold the place unit button, it will highlight individual spots that the units will not move from. Stops archers from running to weird spots

Sword is my favorite. Spear is nice because of the heal but the swords AOE damage is just glorious. Of note. First castle upgrade you always pick the king stats. I like auto house upgrade. Saves a ton of coins while increasing income by +1 more each night

Already maxed out everything and I have to say having more mutators active (increase hp, less gold from enemies, longer respawn, double first 3 waves, etc..) makes the gameplay more fun after beating it normally. Frost biome is the best one out of all the three.

An engineer on the architects council?! Sounds like the only way they get anything done. Somebody has to make sure that they actually have achievable plans

Matt: Tells entire army to move to spot. Also Matt: Instantly starts night before they can even get there, then complains about them. Also Matt: Very little defences outside of troops. Logic.

Thank goodness we got this video, i was so irritated how blitz played it and lost😂 its like watching those mobile game ads where they purposely suck to make you wanna get the game and do it right😂😂😂

Tips for snow level. 1. Get fishport early to get more income from boat every day and upgrade it as early as possible because it doubles the income. 2. Get blacksmith early because it takes 3 days for each upgrade and you can upgrade it 3 times. 3. If you don't have sword weapon yet, get flail barrack to defend from the mass blob thing early. 4. A single archer tower can defend against ranged attacker since they're vulnerable against ranged attacks.

After a good bit playing, I'd argue the oil tower is actually kinda useless. Ballista is so good because it downs seige enemies (the only real threat as they largely ignore troops and wail on your buildings) the iron plate towers are great for isolated towers outside of walls that *will* get targeted.

I have been saying that you secretly want to be an architect even more evidence to my theory

I just finished my first in the snow levels yesterday. It was absolutely tough as nails, but I was victorious! I'm not sure how in the world I'm going to beat any of the challenges though because I barely pulled off the base level.

Bought the game, took me 3 hours to beat it. Super fun definitely recommend picking it up if you like this type of game, it’s like $6 and change

If you hold down the button to set your troops, they will hold positions near that spot. Good for archers that you don't want running into melee combat.

Hey Matt. Just wanna say that you should maybe vary your troops more because each different class has different strenghts and weaknesses. The crossbowmen aren't very effective against flying units, but longbow archers are fragile. Flails are good against groups of enemies, knights are good against ranged attacks and, while spearmen slow fast enemies down, they aren't effective against ranged units.

:) Oi Matt! I recently had to think about you, while reading. I read "winged victory", by V.M. Yeates, it's a book about a RAF pilot during world war I and there was this chapter, where he talked about what other people in his squadron did before the war and one guy was an architect, disgusting, I know. And the protagonist seemed to think alike. A big portion of this chapter, especially if read without context, is just him rambling about how architects are basically war profiting scum, who secretly cheer for every bomb dropped on london, for they will get paid for rebuilding it and not just rebuilding it, but doing so with some sort of agenda to make all things artsy and shit. It was a blast! That guy maybe despised architects even more than you. I know I said that no context makes it even better, but one bit of context is telling, he really talks shit about the whole finance and banking industry, and the guy he talks about before he hates on architects was a bank clerk, but although banks are his declared enemy, he just pities the guy for "being trapped in this hellish system, but the architect don't get this pity, all they get is rage :D
