Why are other AI better at defending than mine? Mine just run along with the players while others fully attack, it makes it so hard to win in pro clubs.

Same happens to me, I was in second division yesterday playing with my friend, both games we were 3-1 on 78’, and from nowhere my AI defense starts to lose the ball in easy controls, bad passes with no one asking for the ball, and in the last goals both times the forward from the other team walk past by them

This might be too obvious.. but you do know that the captain of the team can control the AI right? Making an AI defender put pressure and lock on when you hold R1/Rb

Best way to deal with agile dribbling this year? Had the most success with just lt jockeying but impossible sometimes

The best way is to look at the dribbling the opponent is doing and then make a tackle as soon as you see an opportunity

Would you recommend to play 3-5-2 or a Formation with Left and Rightbacks ? Like 4231 or something like that for Competitive teams this year ?

I’ve seen more teams this year use a 4231 because of the full backs being able to block of crosses. 3-5-2 is still good if you have good LM/RM that can block off crosses

hi, I have the settings where I run with R1 and contain with R2 select with L1 and tackle with L2, based on your advice will I have to hold L2+R2 to activate the wall prestyle? thanks in advance

No, to activate the block PlayStyle it will activate by itself

how you defending against crossing? i find it difficult when in aerial duel because my player always "ask for ball" if i press A or B

Getting in front of your opponent will give you great chance of defending against crossing

When your are going for headers against another opponent B will make your pro jumper a bit higher then A. A is more for passing header

Try to get in front of your opponent when the opponent is crossing it or have someone block off the crosses

L2 is just for jockeying. Positioning is what makes blocking more successful
