Magic missile also works wonders in removing her invincibility stacks

UPDATE. It worked! After I pushed her over I still had to fight all the other dudes but it was not too bad, she was dead and gone. Even though Wyll got pushed off the edge it took some time fighting with 3. THANKS for this vid! Anyone who sees this I did it on Tactician mode and on console. It took around 8 tries for her not to save the throw. I just kept reloading until it worked.

​@@Bibble_is_kingYou lose the loot, but it's rarely ever worth taking. I highly doubt Orin is carrying anything you'll want, but double check her wiki for what items she carries. If you don't find yourself too concerned, cheese away in this encounter. Or you can save beforehand, and once you get the achievement, reload and resume the fight as normal.

This is one of those achievements I accidentally got one playthrough and had no idea how I did it

It must definitly still works, as of note you CAN'T get the loot

Still works! Thank you! I was going to try the improvised weapon technique but I couldn't seem to get her to go off thr platform but thunder wave was perfect. Oh and you dont get her armor or balde. But I was okay with that as long as i got the stone, i was happy. Thank you!

I used banish and the game gave me the netherstone but spat me back out into combat 😂

If she always passes the saving throw and can’t be thrown away: as a sorcerer, I used metamagic effect to debuff her advantage on a saving throw and finally it worked! So my recipe: have to have high spellcaster modifier + remove her advantage / gain advantage yourself. Then it works like a charm, thanks a lot!

You’ll miss out on her armour that they patched to be available to the player.

Efficient, I like it. 🤣 She absolutely savaged me, but I only had one go so far. I was not prepared at all. I may yet resort to this, haha.

Or if you want to get the achievement while in the fight, it's just 10 stacks of invincibility. Nothing to worry about. Magic Missile. All I need to say here. Have a wizard or Sorc drink a speed pot and cast 2 level 3 magic missile. All of her stacks are gone now. Now you just need to take her health out and that health isn't even that high either. A monk/thief multiclass can kill her in one round hitting her a bunch of times. My strongest build would probably have needed 2-3 attacks at most.

I didn't even need magic missile or a spellcaster. Astarion hitting her with that bow that inflicts Frightened. Now big bad Orin in her Slayer form can't move. My Open Hand monk just solo'd her after that with the Resonance Stone letting him do extra psychic damage

@@crofoegbu6535 Was that in the duel? She doesn't get her 10 stacks of unstoppable in the duel. In a group fight she gets those every round, so you either have to take out the people chanting a bhaalist ritual or get rid of the stacks and nuke her in one round.

Just made this with her and it works perfectly! 😂 Mid fight with the ritual guys I found the dagger with the netherstone on the floor near the altar so i grabbed it. At the end of the fight the game just keept going as if i killed her. I guess the only thing you loose is her shortsword and her clothing tho. I even tried to pickpocket her before the fight just to see her inventory, but it was only the key to free Laezel, which you find above the altar after you pushed her to the abyss.

I just magic missile twice and swing a sword at her and she died, I didn't even try and I got it

But do you still get her stone?

Can confirm as of 15 May 2024 this doesn’t work on console 😭 you can’t throw Orin off the chasm because it says path interrupted or too far

I didn't get the gimmick when I did this the first time and ended up brute-forcing the battle with magic missile and Lae'zel's absurd amount of attacks.

what about the item loot on orin ? i mean .. we can't get them right ? because orin fall into chasm

What about her netherstone can you still obtain it?

I’m super surprised it worked for me I tried everything else I heard people do but it didn’t work

i did it with about 14 ghouls

LOL I talked her out of the sacrifice and then killed her in 1v1 on tactician as a gloomstalker/thief. She was surprisingly easy.

I pushed her off the edge which means no corpse now I’m sad

I got it my first try, all i did was killing her

I did this and she didnt drop the dagger only the key but so some reason halsine was already unlocked going to reload a save and do it again untild she drops the dang thing

You can't get the loot if u kill her by shoving her into the chasm

What didn't work? The achievement or did she save vs the thunder wave? Let me know, as of last Friday, it still worked!

No one kills with the chasm…
