As a dollfluencer, I think you should remind people what it involves buying from SHEIN and what’s going on with their company at the moment. You have a responsibility to your community when making review and making them want to get the doll.

Hi Elyas, thanks for watching. 😊 In terms of factories and conditions, I've not seen any issues with the Defa Lucy company, and Shein doesn't own that company, which means that factory conditions (if that is what you're referring to) of Shein are not too relevant. We will keep an eye on things though! 😊

@@psychoDOLLogist Agree to disagree, when selling with reseller ( etsy ; aliexpress, amazon ; shein ; temu ) when buying their, you pay fee for them, cause thats how it works, they're not gonna promote your product for free, so at the end, like it or not, you're paying temu and shein, and that's a problem, if the defa lucy was so not problematic, why not selling on amazon ? maybe cause amazon have a strict policy and check the product, or even on aliexpress but they have been called out several time by both usa government and eu so now they're careful. It's way to easy to try to found excuses in order to buy a doll that is trendy and look somewhere else. As consumer we have to know what we stand for, and don't get me wrong, you like the doll than get it but found apps that are not putting people on camp just because they're muslim, we've learned in the past that doesn't end well.

Try putting the head of the pink haired Lucy into hot water, it is very likely that the plastic relaxes and returns to the original form. Just before you try to file the nose down. And as you want to restyle the hair, the hot water is great for that too. The black girl with the curly hair is beautiful but her hair is dreadful. I tried to wash and treat the hair, straighten it a little, but she lost sooo much hair that there are some bold spots so I will have to reroot her. I cannot wait for the new red head to appear. I am obsessed with red haired dolls, am a red head by choice by myself. I just found you about 2 weeks ago, but I love your content. Thank you for the great reviews. Luv you.

Love your video so much i see it two times so I do with all your videos see them many times....I have be very lucky only 4 dolls have broken boxes the other is fine.....They come with a extra box round them.....The first Denim doll I miss out she was sold out so fast.....Should love a video you wash the dolls hair.....The other two denim I have and love...

I got my Defa Lucy fashion doll with the green dress. The dress is well done, the lip bag is amazing and the red sun glasses but the body has a low quality. It's the same body that Barbie had in the end of the 90s and also some dolls here in Brazil but the legs from Barbie and the dols we have here in Brazil they bend fully and the material that they are made is better. It's a nice rubber that feels good when we touch and in the Defa Lucy the material of the legs is harder and the click when they bend is almost nothing. But it's good doll and I wanna see more releases and I also hope that they start to use a better ruber and make the legs to fully bend. I think this type of body is more beautiful than the articilated body.

I unboxed the doll at 4:23 just today. Her overalls looked good. The shoes are very loose. Her hair feels like poly. She also has a few bald spots. The face is good, but I only got her for her outfit. The pockets are functional.

That's awesome! Yes, the clothes often look quite nice. Shoes are definitely an issue, not seeing much of an option other than rubber bands. Thinking the hair is poly, and yes, amount of rooting is also an issue with many of the dolls. How great are the functional pockets! 😊 Thanks for watching and adding to our conversation! 😊💖

It depends where you're at, but I would recommend thrift stores if you're someone looking to expand your collection, and are okay with restoring dolls. That's a great way to find some great dolls for low prices that just need some time and care. 😊💖
