Bajirao & Mastani, its a real life story. It happened in the 17th country. That man sitting there is Bajirao Ballal, the peshwa (primeminister) of the Marathi Kingdom. Mastani Sahiba is the girl dancing. That woman, that you know from Quantico, is Kashibhai, Bajirao's wife. Bajirao went in battle and he met Mastano there. Mastani is a princess, she is the daughter of the King in Bundelkhand. He met her in battle and she safed his life, by being cut of his powerful sword. He brought her back to Bundelkhand, to her father. Oh, and your friend means Holi, the event of colors. (Deewani means crazy) So the King invited Bajirao to attend holi in Bundelkhand. Mastani danced for him and he fell in love with her, and she with him. When be got back to the Marathi Kingdom, Mastani followed him. She was muslim and Bajirao was Hindu, the mother & wife of him, had a problem with it. But he secretly married Mastani and they became a son, named Shamsher Bahadur (Krishna Rao). When Bajirao went back into battle, Mastani fot arrested from the Mother. I don't want to spoiler the end.☺ If you want spoilers, just tell me, i'll spoiler you. Its a very very good movie and its one of the most valuable bollywood movies of all time. it earned 52 Million Dollars. Peshwa Bajirao Ballal is played by Ranveer Singh, Mastano Sahiba is played by Deepika Padukone (Ranveer & Deepika are also in real life together) and Kashibhai is played by Priyanka Chopra (Quantico). Kati TV it s from the movie, mastani was born from a muslim mother but she wasn t !she was a believer of krishna ,her mariage as all the union at those time was political she was gifted to the primeminister and became his second wife and rao fell for the princess, she was a singer and a dancer .she wasn t welcomed by the family because of her muslim mother part .

@@syedamaanullah487 actually Urdu is derived from Persian but 75% Urdu vocabulary is borrowed from Hindi. So spoken Hindi and Urdu are almost the same and can be used interchangeably. Arabic culture is very different from Indian Muslim culture so calling it Arabic is wrong.

Music Game News This movie was based on Bajirao Peshwa who belonged to Maratha Empire who marries Warrior Princess Mastani inspite being already married adding to that she was Muslim n he belonged to orthodox Hindu community adding to the taboo. She was never accepted by Public n Relative even attempts were made assassinate her. This movie was their story one more thing Maratha Palace mentioned here is Shaniwar Wada in Pune in State of Maharashtra in India. By the way Deewani means Obsessed. Peshwa was the title given to Prime Minister in Maratha Empire although a Peshwa his influence was on par to the king as he single handlely expanded Maratha Kingdom in India. Its not a calipha....calipha is a muslim king...this is a maratha king,a hindu king.the lady with a nose ring is Priyanka chopra.the nose ring is a traditional sort worn by Maharashtrians..even today...during any festival.the other lady is not Spanish she's indian,her name is Deepika Padukone.shes married to the king in real life.pls do some research on the song before viewing and be a bit more attentive.

deewani means crazy… i think the holiday you're talking about is diwali its a festival of lights… the arabic word dheeni indeed means about religion but it has no connection to the word deewani… the girl is called mastani and she is singing about how every body says that she has become crazy in love… it also plays on the word mast (mastani) which literally means intoxicated… so it can also be translated as they say she is crazy and intoxicated in love… hindi/urdu is a beautiful language and as you guys said the song is a visual masterpiece… may i suggest mohe rang do laal (literally meaning: colour me in red)from the same film its BEAUTIFUL just like this one
