Happy hunting my friend!
Great to hear the history of the camp! Thanks for bringing us along to camp Dave. Some of us have to live vicariously through you guys this year. Oh, and its going to be a great Thanksgiving day game this year. Go Lions! But seriously, happy Thanksgiving to all of the crew at the 3-point lounge and billiard room.

Thanks for the support! I think I should just go hunting during that Lion/Packer game. I don't see reason that the Packers offensive line will hold up any better this time around against the Lions. Maybe I can go out and shoot a big buck and ease the pain! LOL! Thanks again!
Deer camp is a tradition! I hunt southern Indiana on public ground and have been doing so for 25 years. This year I bought a 12x12 cabin tent and a wood stove. My plan is to camp down there for two weeks during the 16 day firearms season. Can’t wait!!!

I waited all year for your son to get a 8-point lol and I'm pretty sure every time you show last year's Buck he looks a little bit bigger lmao great video loved it I haven't taken one yet either five spikes seven different does and one really small six-point plenty of time left good luck to you get a big one

Ah yes, the first day of firearm deer season, 15 Nov! A school holiday! A time of great deer camp fellowship! I do miss November in the U.P.! We just finished our last day of elk hunting in the northern mountains of New Mexico. My son and I saw elk every day of our 5-day hunt, but....they were bulls not cows(our tag), they were 1 1/2 miles away, they were 500 yards away, we heard them before shooting light, we saw them after shooting light, we saw them in the protected area--if it weren't for bad luck, we wouldn't have no luck at all! Western hunting is a far cry different from deer camp hunting. You have to take to the mountains, you have to glass for them, you have to walk/crawl through a tremendous amount of deadfall trees, trying to sneak up on them is an exercise in more failure than success, you have to carry a heavy pack with enough items to spend the night comfortably at 8000-9800 feet, you've got to pack a howitzer (.300 WM for me), you've got to be ready for sun, rain and snow all in the same day, it's important to pack plenty of water, but most terrible of all....there are no Pasties! We got tacos and burritos, but no pasties. Good times still the same! Best wishes for continued deer camp enjoyment!

We had the worst year this opener. Didn't see 1 deer in 10 days of hunting. Did see wolves and parts of deer from fresh wolf kills. We are north of seney wildlife refuge. Ran across DNR fireman and he said the pack west of 77 that takes you to grand Marais has 19 wolves in it..

The 3 Point Lounge and Billiard Room. Now that sings! It's funny that I came across this today. I've had a 3 pointer on ice since last Saturday and today I began processing. I got one ham completed and the other boned out. That deer is just covered with fat! Taking me a bit longer just to peel off all that fat. It's OK. I just let myself go a bit OCD while processing. Still gotta get through the shoulders, backstraps, tenderloins, brisket and flank meat. But it's all on ice. This ain't my first rodeo!

@@KnettersPracticalOutdoors Nice! I'm glad that they had some success. We hunt north of Powers and we seen little to next to nothing by us. We could bait for the first time since 2018 and it didn't help much. The wolves by us doesn't help either.

You guys have a great camp! Unfortunately there aren’t too many camps left in the area where we hunt in Wisconsin. We do go over to the neighbors place on the Thursday before season for food and beers which is always fun. How many days do you typically stay? We usually have 9 guys for opening weekend but by second weekend we’re down to 4 or 5 guys. Even without anything hanging from your buck pole, you guys had a successful season! Cheers!

LOL! I love it that a Patriot fan commented on that! Hey I gave your guy Brady his due, I said Rivers may not have won 6, but probably a couple. I think that's fair. Rivers was a really good QB that played for a bad organization. Remember, Eli Manning and his daddy wouldn't let Eli even play for the Chargers when he came out in the draft. I'm not even a Rivers/Charger fan, so it's just football talk. But I agree, I'd take Brady over Rivers every day.

Why do you only see in one direction for your blind? Why don’t you have a 360 view to increase your chances?
@KnettersPracticalOutdoors
7 ай бұрын
Can't see far at all to the sides. Would need to do a lot of lane clearing to make it help. Also, I do like how dark the blind is on the inside with minimal windows. I can wave at deer and they don't see in the blind. But I get it.
Given away your feed stations. [Corn] mice will stock pile in places like your grill lol....

Sorry i missed that. I've watched a couple other video's of yours, IM new to your channel. IM born raised here in Maine. We have a camp 3 hours north in Northern Millinocket. No electricity, just gas. Lights. Heat, stove/oven ect. Out house of course lol. It is incredibly beautiful up there. Gods Country. Do you guys look for small bucks only? 3pt camp, and all the nice little racks in the camp. IM just curious if you guys are just hunting smaller bucks. The meat is very very good on a young deer ect.
