Now if only they would reform the laws around game meat and allow it to be bought and sold in the USA to a better capacity. I know i would buy Bison and Deer at the grocery store if i had the ability to. Ive read that Bison actually has to be imported for food sale unless you go out and get it yourself. That sucks if its true.

We try and get the meat from between the ribs and it goes in the grind pile. The dogs get the rest. Nothing goes to waste around here. I'm going to try this recipe next deer because it looks FIE-YA

While I agree with your and Stale Cracker's message, I have never seen anyone, not trim the ribs as he shows. And I've been hunting, fishing and trapping for over 50 years. In Alaska, it's the law that you pack out all the meat first. Only on the final trip can you bring out that trophy moose rack. So I doubt that MOST people waste so much meat. I have heard of it, and it's a terrible thing to do. idk, maybe I just hanged out with a more ethical crew than the, MOST.

Venison pepperoni. 25 years ago Alberta opened deer full time and elevated quotas. my uncle was there and he once sent us 25 pounds of deer pepperoni. fond memories. im sure that deer andouilles made with the meat thrown away by the couillons would be great too.

Why, so he can make the same spicy slop over and over again? There's a reason why you sear meat (normal meat, deer is not in the supermarket for a reason too) before cooking it. This guy makes the same dish every time, all he has is charisma
