The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzread.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

@TheWaterSwatters
Жыл бұрын
If you put the 150lb limbs on it or get one of the reverse limb bows you'll be good out to 15 yards. I've killed 5 deer with them now and recovered all of them. I also shot a hog last week that I didn't find. I will not deer hunt with the 120lb limb bow. It just shoots to slow they have to much time to move. Oh and you're really gonna need a good sharp cut on contact broadhead. I don't thing the expandable ones will work well with these bows. I hope this helps if not let me know where I fell short and I'll try to explain.

Have been watching some of your videos, and i must say i am impressed. But i just have some questions if you were so kind to answer. I'd love to know, because i will be buying FMA Supersonic Tactical, it is very similar to this Bat or Mini Striker Crossbow. I'd love to buy BAT but it's only in US and im from Europe. FMA supersonic tactical has a magazine but power is 120 lbs, not 150 like BAT. But the bolts in the magazine are a lot smaller than if you were using the crossbot without the magaizne. 1. What is your opinion on the Mini Striker? (FMA Supersonic is very similar) 2. Should i use it with magazine for hunting? (but the bolts are smaller) 3. What is the max distance to shoot with the longer bolts? 4. What bolts with broadhead are you using? (length, eventually other parameters) 5. How to cheaply, without any equipment lure deers or other animals near you? Like throw some seeds or smth on the ground? 6. For how long can it be cooked? Like you cook it and wait for the animal? What is a maximum time so the string won''t be stretched? I don't know if i have any more questions, wish you good luck in hunting 2023!
@TheWaterSwatters
Жыл бұрын
The mini striker, bat and Supersonic are all the same bows branded differently. I use corn to bait deer, I put it in a feeder which dispenses just a little a couple times a day. I would recommend the 150lb limbs or the reverse draw bow to deer hunt with. I use a G5 Montec broadhead, but any cut on contact broadhead that you can get sharp will do the job. I wouldn't use expandable broadheads with these bows. Max range with any of these bows is about 15 yards when hunting. Target shooting...much further, but animals have a tendency to move before the arrow arrives. I can't hunt with short bolts where I live the must be 14 inches to deer hunt with but I have killed a good size hog with the short bolts out if the Vlad so if it's legal I have no doubt it will work.
@michaf6397
Жыл бұрын
@@TheWaterSwatters I think FMA supersonic is a reverse draw bow crossbow, but it's only 120 lbs. I looked for 150lbs limbs but there are none for this crossbow. As the most compact crossbow only BAT has 150 lbs. I just hope that this one will be enough for a deer. If not, then I will try with Cobra Adder, currently at 130 lbs of power, but there is a 200lbs limb coming out this march so I am going to buy it.

Question do u need a permit or to take a class or what’s the deal trying to get one for my son he likes to go camping
@TheWaterSwatters
Жыл бұрын
In Oklahoma you don't need a license or class to have a crossbow. If you're hunting with it there are some licenses you need and you'll need to have taken a hunter safety course to get the licenses, but that's in Oklahoma. Other states may have different regs.
It’s a cool piece for sure for me. It would just be a toy to mess around with in the yard. You can hunt deer with it and other animals but that little bow is only shooting a 200 grain arrow at the advertise speeds, I’ll stick with a regular crossbow that shoots a heavier arrow at the same speed… it’s cool for sure that people hunt with it but if you had a shoulder bone, you’re probably gonna get 3 inches of penetration plus I can put down my ravin
@TheWaterSwatters
11 ай бұрын
I hit one in the shoulder you're right about 3 or 4 inches is all the penetration I got. That was enough to get the heart though it didn't go to far. I have had the same results with shoulder shots with my Mathewa and even my Barnett. Just one of those things. No arguing though a full size bow will definitely preform better. Lol a rifle will do even better!
