Also, this is a trick deer use to elude predators. Notice how the deer was sprinting downstream. He had probably entered the river upstream because a wolf, coyote, cougar -- something -- was on his scent. Notice how no other animal was behind him. : )

This is a joke right? All ungulates are not made to swim and they really suck at it, they have cloven hooves not webbed feet, weigh far too much, and literally have thin sticks to try and paddle their body with, not to mention wide open nostrils that hit the water before anything else on their head. It is why many are most vulnerable in the water, and sometimes predators will even make their kill in it, because they DO have webbed feet and a lighter body mass to be able to do so, it isn't always worth the energy expense so they don't always though.

@@aphyngodiva2551 No they are not "built to swim", and they can be vulnerable in the water at certain times, but they do not suck at it. Deer, elk , moose and others are very good swimmers. They will take to the water to escape predators if necessary. I don't know where you got your information, but 5 minutes of research on line would tell you that they do very well in the water and have no problem swimming quite long distances.

That water could be used as stolen urine samples during forensics tests. There's more yellow in that water than the pint of lemonade made by a little girl scraping for chump change. That water looks like it hasn't been cleansed since the bathroom of an abandoned pirate ship was discovered. It looks like a giant crate of melted cheese fell into the river. That river probably needs a nationwide avalanche of chloride to get that blatant piss water back to normal. That deer likely now smells like rancid urine submerged into its fur. Tahquamenon Falls is actually much less polluted than it may appear. All the color is caused naturally by tannins, due to an overload of dying leaves that the river goes through upstream. Well-known to locals, but look up information about the waterfall and it almost always mentions that.
